4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- For the Main Unit: Open the battery compartment cover on the back. Insert 3 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover.
- For the Wireless Sensor: Open the battery compartment cover. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover.
The main unit will power on automatically and begin searching for the outdoor sensor.
4.2 Sensor Pairing
After inserting batteries into both units, the main unit will automatically attempt to connect with the sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity should appear on the main unit's display within a few minutes. If the connection is not established:
- Ensure both units are within range (up to 260ft/80m unobstructed).
- Press the 'CH' button on the main unit to manually search for the sensor.
- If using multiple sensors, press the 'CH' button on the main unit to cycle through channels (CH1, CH2, CH3).
4.3 Atomic Time Synchronization (WWVB)
The weather station is equipped with an atomic clock feature that automatically receives WWVB signals to set the time and date accurately. This process usually starts automatically after power-on.

Image 4.1: Atomic Clock Feature and Unit Dimensions.
- Place the main unit near a window for better signal reception.
- The atomic clock icon will flash during synchronization and become solid once successful.
- To manually initiate synchronization, press and hold the 'RCC/SET' button.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Setting Time and Date
If atomic time synchronization is unavailable or you prefer manual setting:
- Press and hold the 'RCC/SET' button until the time display flashes.
- Use the 'CH' or 'MEM' buttons to adjust the value.
- Press 'RCC/SET' to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., 12/24 hour format, hour, minute, year, month, day).
- Press 'RCC/SET' again to exit settings.
5.2 Alarm and Snooze Function

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit | Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. | Check battery polarity and replace with fresh AAA batteries. |
| Outdoor reading not displayed or inaccurate | Sensor out of range, low battery in sensor, or interference. | Move sensor closer to main unit. Replace sensor batteries. Press 'CH' button to re-sync. Avoid large metal objects between units. |
| Atomic time not syncing | Weak WWVB signal, interference, or incorrect time zone setting. | Place unit near a window. Manually initiate RCC synchronization. Ensure correct time zone is set (if applicable, refer to advanced settings in full manual). |
| Weather forecast is incorrect | The forecast is based on atmospheric pressure changes and is an estimation for 12-24 hours. It may not always match official forecasts. | This is normal. The device provides a localized forecast based on its sensor data. |
