  • AUTO Mode: The machine automatically starts counting when bills are placed in the hopper.
  • MANUAL Mode (M/A button): Press the M/A button to switch to manual start. Counting will only begin after pressing the START button.
  • ADD Mode: Press the "ADD" button to activate. In this mode, the machine accumulates the count of multiple batches, providing a running total.
  • BATCH Mode: Press the "BATCH" button to activate. Use the numeric keypad to set a desired batch quantity (e.g., 100). The machine will stop counting each time the set number of bills is reached.
  • ADD + BATCH Mode: Combines the functionality of both Add and Batch modes.
  • RESET Function: Press the "RESET" button to clear the current count and reset the machine. This also performs a self-test upon power-on.

4.3 Denomination Counting Function

The machine can calculate the total monetary value of a single selected denomination and add up the total amount of different denominations.

Figure 6: The control panel allows selection of denominations for value calculation.

  1. Single Denomination Value: Select the desired denomination from the numeric/denomination keypad on the control panel. Place bills of that specific denomination into the hopper. The total number of bills and their monetary value will be displayed after counting.
  2. Cumulative Value of Different Denominations: Ensure "ADD" mode is selected. Select the first denomination from the keypad and count the bills. Then, select the next denomination and repeat the process. The machine will accumulate the total value.

Note: This machine does not identify denominations automatically and does not support mixed counting of different denominations simultaneously. Bills must be sorted by denomination for value calculation.

5. Counterfeit Detection

The Aneken Money Counter Machine is equipped with multiple advanced detection technologies to identify counterfeit banknotes.

Figure 7: The machine employs various authentication techniques for secure money verification.

  • UV (Ultraviolet) Detection: Checks for UV features present in genuine banknotes.
  • MG (Magnetic) Detection: Detects magnetic ink patterns found on authentic currency.
  • IR (Infrared) Detection: Verifies infrared security features embedded in banknotes.
  • DBL (Double-note) Detection: Identifies instances where two bills are stuck together.
  • HLF (Half-note) Detection: Detects bills that are torn or incomplete.
  • CHN (Chain-note) Detection: Recognizes bills that are linked together.

These detection modes can be enabled simultaneously or separately. If a suspect bill is detected, the machine will stop counting and display an error code. Remove the suspect bill and press the RESET button to continue counting.

  • External Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.2 Adjusting Tightness

If you experience frequent jams or misfeeds, the internal tightness of the conveyor belt may need adjustment.

  • Locate the Adjusting Screw (8) on the machine (refer to Figure 2).
  • Carefully turn the screw in small increments to adjust the tension. Test with a stack of bills after each adjustment until optimal performance is achieved.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter and their solutions.
