5. Setup
After assembly, carefully move the cabinet to its desired location. Ensure the floor is level and stable. Re-check all connections and ensure the anti-tip device is properly installed and secured to the wall.
For optimal stability and safety, always use the included anti-tip hardware to anchor the cabinet to a wall stud. This prevents accidental tipping, especially in households with children or pets.
6. Operating
The Spirich SS21-SPT-007E cabinet features adjustable shelves and two doors for enclosed storage.
- Adjusting Shelves: To adjust the height of the internal shelves, remove all items from the shelf. Carefully lift the shelf and remove the four shelf pins. Reinsert the pins into the desired holes at the new height, ensuring they are level, then place the shelf back onto the pins.
- Opening/Closing Doors: Use the chrome finish knobs to open and close the cabinet doors. Ensure doors close completely to protect contents.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will prolong the life and appearance of your cabinet.
- Cleaning: Wipe the cabinet surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth followed immediately by a dry cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Hardware Check: Periodically inspect all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as needed.
- Door Alignment: If doors become misaligned over time, adjust the hinges as shown in the troubleshooting section.
8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
- Wobbly Cabinet: Ensure the cabinet is on a level surface. Check that all assembly screws are fully tightened. Verify the anti-tip device is securely installed.
