Key Features:

  • Spacious Interior: Measuring 95.5 x 45.5 x 52.5cm, this indoor bird cage allows your small birds to fly and move frequently, reducing stress and providing greater comfort.
  • Robust Metal Frame: Constructed from iron with an anti-rust and waterproof coating, this metal bird cage offers a long service life. The metal material also allows your small birds to engage in physical activities like climbing.
  • Flexible Breeding Cage: The removable divider grate allows this large cage to be split into two separate spaces (breeding/individual living) to house two or more birds. You can also remove the middle grate to create a single, larger cage.
  • Secure Lock Design: This double bird cage features a secure crescent-shaped lock system, designed to prevent your birds from unlocking the door and escaping.
  • Complete Accessories: Each section includes 2 perches, 2 feeders, 1 lockable door, 2 side doors, 1 pull-out base tray, and 1 grate.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Always ensure all parts are securely assembled before placing birds inside.
  • Regularly inspect the cage for any damaged or loose parts that could harm your birds.
  • Keep the cage away from direct sunlight, drafts, and extreme temperatures.
  • Ensure the cage is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
  • Keep small children and pets away from the cage during assembly and cleaning to prevent accidents.

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Yaheetech Bird Aviary Cage. It is recommended to have two people for easier assembly.

  1. Unpack all components and verify against the parts list (not provided in this manual, refer to packaging).
  2. Begin by assembling the base frame. Ensure all corners are aligned and secured.
  3. Attach the side panels to the base, followed by the back and front panels. Secure them using the provided fasteners.
  4. Insert the pull-out base trays into their designated slots at the bottom of the cage.
  5. Install the internal grates above the trays.
  6. If using the divider, slide it into the central slot to create two separate compartments. Otherwise, leave it out for a single large space.

4. Operating Instructions

This section provides guidance on daily use of your bird cage.

4.1 Feeding and Watering

The cage is equipped with feeders that can be accessed from outside. To refill, simply slide the feeder access door open, remove the feeder, fill it with appropriate food or water, and slide it back into place. Ensure the access door is securely closed after refilling.

4.2 Accessing Birds

The main doors provide ample space for reaching inside the cage. For routine interactions or to remove birds, gently open the main door. Always ensure the door is securely locked when not in use to prevent escapes.

4.3 Using the Divider

If you need to separate birds for breeding, health reasons, or to introduce new birds gradually, slide the divider grate into the central channel. To create a larger single space, simply remove the divider.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for the health and well-being of your birds.

  • Daily Cleaning: Remove and clean the pull-out trays daily. Wash them with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely before returning them to the cage.
  • Weekly Cleaning: Wipe down all cage surfaces with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a bird-safe disinfectant. Ensure all cleaning agents are thoroughly rinsed off and the cage is dry before reintroducing birds.
  • Perch Cleaning: Clean perches regularly to prevent the buildup of droppings and bacteria.
  • Material Care: The anti-rust coating on the metal frame helps maintain its condition. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the coating.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Door not locking securely: Check if the crescent-shaped lock mechanism is aligned correctly with the latch. Ensure no debris is obstructing the locking parts. If bent, gently realign.
  • Tray difficult to slide: Ensure the tray is clean and free of debris. Check if the runners are clear and not bent. A small amount of food-grade lubricant can be applied if necessary.
  • Cage feels wobbly: Verify that all screws and fasteners used during assembly are tightened securely. Ensure the cage is placed on a flat, stable surface.
