4.3 Data Management

Test results are stored on the device. For detailed analysis or record-keeping, data can be transferred to a local PC. Refer to the device's on-screen menu or a separate software guide (if applicable) for instructions on data transfer. The device is also Bluetooth-enabled for future application connectivity.

5. Maintenance

The Baseline BIMS Digital Dynamometer is designed for low maintenance due to its digital load-cell technology and absence of hydraulic oil. Regular maintenance includes:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the device in liquid.
  • Storage: Store the dynamometer in its protective carrying case when not in use to prevent dust accumulation and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Battery Care: Ensure the Lithium Ion battery is charged regularly, especially if the device will be stored for an extended period.
  • Calibration: While the digital technology offers high accuracy, periodic calibration by a certified service provider is recommended to ensure continued precision, especially in professional settings.
