3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

The K18 detector is powered by a rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided charging cable. Connect the charging cable to the DC5V port on the device and a compatible USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

3.2 Attaching Antennas

1. RF Antenna: Screw the RF antenna into the designated port on the top of the device for radio frequency signal detection.
2. GS Probe: Attach the GS probe (magnetic field detection antenna) to its dedicated port for detecting magnetic GPS trackers.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power Switch button to turn the device on or off.

4.2 Mode Selection

The K18 offers different detection modes. Use the Mode Button to cycle through available modes, which typically include:

• RF Signal Detection (MS Mode): For detecting wireless signals from cameras, listening devices, and other RF transmitters.
• Magnetic Field Detection (GS Mode): For locating magnetic GPS trackers.
• Camera Lens Finder: For visually identifying hidden camera lenses.

4.3 Sensitivity Adjustment

4.4 RF Signal Detection

1. Ensure the RF antenna is attached.
2. Select the RF Signal Detection mode (MS).
3. Slowly scan the area. The signal display (LED bar) will illuminate, and the device will emit a buzzer sound or vibrate when an RF signal is detected.
4. Adjust sensitivity as needed to narrow down the source. A higher number of illuminated LEDs indicates a stronger signal.

4.5 Magnetic Field Detection

1. Ensure the GS probe is attached.
2. Select the Magnetic Field Detection mode (GS).
3. Move the GS probe close to suspicious areas, especially under vehicles, furniture, or metallic surfaces where magnetic GPS trackers might be hidden.
4. The device will indicate detection through sound, vibration, and/or the signal display.

4.6 Camera Lens Finder

1. Activate the Laser Switch to emit a red laser light.
2. Look through the viewing window on the device.
3. Scan the area slowly. Hidden camera lenses will appear as bright red dots when illuminated by the laser and viewed through the special filter.
