3. Setup
3.1 Attaching the Sensor to the Chest Strap
- Moisten the electrode areas on the back of the chest strap with water or electrode gel to ensure good contact with your skin.
- Attach the heart rate sensor to the two snap fasteners on the chest strap. Ensure it is securely fastened.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On and Status Indicator
The Magene H603 automatically powers on when it detects a heart rate signal. A red LED light on the sensor indicates that the monitor is active and ready for use.

4.2 Connecting to Devices (ANT+ & Bluetooth)
The H603 supports both ANT+ and Bluetooth 4.2 for stable data transmission. It can record two copies of data simultaneously: one via an ANT+ device and another via a Bluetooth application.
- For Bluetooth Connection:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or compatible device.
- Open your preferred fitness application (e.g., Zwift, Strava, Elite HRV).
- Navigate to the sensor pairing or device connection settings within the app.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Chest Strap

- Avoid using strong detergents or chemicals, as they may damage the electrodes.
5.2 Battery Replacement
The H603 uses a CR2032 coin cell battery. When the battery is low, the device's performance may be affected, or it may stop transmitting data.
- Using a coin, twist the battery cover on the back of the sensor counter-clockwise to open it.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Replace the battery cover and twist it clockwise to secure it. Ensure the O-ring seal is properly seated to maintain water resistance.
