4.2 Connecting to Devices (ANT+ & Bluetooth)

The H603 supports both ANT+ and Bluetooth 4.2 for stable data transmission. It can record two copies of data simultaneously: one via an ANT+ device and another via a Bluetooth application.

  1. For Bluetooth Connection:
    • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or compatible device.
    • Open your preferred fitness application (e.g., Zwift, Strava, Elite HRV).
    • Navigate to the sensor pairing or device connection settings within the app.
    • Select "Magene H603" from the list of available devices to pair.
  2. For ANT+ Connection:
    • Ensure your ANT+ compatible device (e.g., Wahoo, Garmin cycling computer) is powered on.
    • Go to the sensor pairing menu on your ANT+ device.
    • The device should automatically detect the Magene H603. Select it to connect.

The H603 is compatible with a wide range of fitness devices and applications, including Wahoo, Zwift, Strava, and Elite HRV.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Chest Strap

  • After each use, detach the sensor from the chest strap.
  • Rinse the chest strap under running water.
  • Hang the strap to dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Avoid using strong detergents or chemicals, as they may damage the electrodes.

5.2 Battery Replacement

The H603 uses a CR2032 coin cell battery. When the battery is low, the device's performance may be affected, or it may stop transmitting data.

  1. Using a coin, twist the battery cover on the back of the sensor counter-clockwise to open it.
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Replace the battery cover and twist it clockwise to secure it. Ensure the O-ring seal is properly seated to maintain water resistance.
