3. Setup
Follow these steps for the initial setup of your wireless microphone system:
- Connect Antennas: Screw the four included antennas into the corresponding antenna ports on the rear panel of the receiver. Ensure they are securely tightened for optimal signal reception.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC 12-18V input on the receiver's rear panel, then connect the adapter to a power outlet.
- Connect to Audio System: Use the 1/4'' audio cable to connect the MIX OUT jack on the receiver to your amplifier, mixer, or karaoke machine's audio input. For individual channel control, use XLR cables (not included) to connect the balanced XLR outputs (BAL.A, BAL.B, BAL.C, BAL.D) to your audio system.
- Install Microphone Batteries: Unscrew the bottom part of each handheld microphone. Insert two AA batteries into each microphone, ensuring correct polarity. Screw the bottom part back on securely. (Note: AA batteries are not included and must be purchased separately).
- Attach Anti-rolling Rings and Foam Covers: Slide the anti-rolling rings onto the microphones to prevent them from rolling when placed on flat surfaces. Place the foam covers over the microphone heads to reduce plosives and protect the capsule.
- Power On: Press the power button on the front panel of the receiver. The LCD displays on both the receiver and microphones will illuminate, indicating they are powered on and ready for use. The system automatically pairs the microphones with the receiver for plug-and-play operation.

- Operating Range: The system offers a remote operation range of up to 300 feet (approximately 91 meters) in open spaces, providing flexibility for various event sizes and layouts.
- Fixed Frequency Design: The system utilizes a fixed frequency design for high interference immunity and stable signal transmission, ensuring clear and robust sound.
- Compatibility: The MicrocKing system is compatible with a variety of audio equipment, including professional music mixers, amplifiers with microphone inputs, and most karaoke machines. It is not recommended for business meetings where specific conferencing features might be required.

- Battery Replacement: Replace microphone batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD display to avoid interruptions during use. Always use fresh AA batteries.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the microphones and store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Handle microphones and the receiver with care. Avoid dropping them or subjecting them to strong impacts, as this can damage internal components.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your MicrocKing Wireless Microphone System, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No sound from microphone | Microphone or receiver not powered on; low or dead batteries; incorrect audio connections; microphone not paired. | Ensure both microphone and receiver are powered on. Check microphone batteries and replace if necessary. Verify all audio cables are securely connected to the correct input/output jacks. The system features auto-pairing, but if issues persist, refer to the full user manual for re-pairing instructions. |
| Intermittent sound or signal dropouts | Operating beyond range; interference from other wireless devices; obstacles blocking signal; loose antenna connections. | Reduce distance between microphone and receiver. Ensure antennas are fully extended and securely connected. Minimize interference by moving away from other electronic devices (Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones). Ensure a clear line of sight between the microphone and receiver. |
| Poor sound quality (distortion, static) | Volume levels too high; interference; damaged microphone or cable. | Adjust volume levels on both the microphone and receiver to prevent clipping. Check for sources of interference. Inspect microphone and audio cables for any visible damage. |
