  1. Unpack the Laminator: Carefully remove the laminator from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the laminator on a stable, flat surface with adequate space around it for proper ventilation and for documents to exit. Ensure it is near a power outlet.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the laminator's power input, then into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Power On: Locate the power switch (usually on the side or back) and turn the laminator ON. The "Power on" indicator light will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Hot Lamination

  1. Prepare Document: Place your document or photo inside a thermal laminating pouch. Ensure the document is centered and there is a small margin around the edges.
  2. Select Mode: Press the "Mode" button to select the desired pouch thickness (e.g., "3 Mil" or "5 Mil"). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Warm-up: Allow the laminator to warm up. The warm-up time is approximately 3 minutes. The "Power on" light will typically change color or stop blinking when ready.
  4. Insert Pouch: Once ready, insert the sealed edge of the laminating pouch into the laminator's entry slot. The laminator will automatically feed the pouch through.
  5. Retrieve Laminated Item: The laminated document will exit from the rear slot. Allow it to cool on a flat surface before handling.

5.2. Cold Lamination

  1. Prepare Document: Place your document or photo inside a self-adhesive cold laminating pouch.
  2. Select Mode: Press the "Mode" button until the "Cold" indicator light illuminates. No warm-up time is required for cold lamination.
  3. Insert Pouch: Insert the sealed edge of the cold laminating pouch into the laminator's entry slot.
  4. Retrieve Laminated Item: The laminated document will exit from the rear slot.

Important: Always insert the sealed edge of the pouch first to prevent jams. If a jam occurs, use the "Release" lever (if available) to free the document.
