5.1 Battery Installation & Charging

3. Adjust Tension: Pull the guide plate outward to straighten the chain. Then, use the adjustment screw (located near the guide bar) and turn it clockwise to tighten the chain. The ideal tension allows for a gap of approximately 3-4mm between the chain and the guide plate when pulled gently.
4. Tighten Cover Screw: Once the desired tension is achieved, tighten the cover's screw firmly by turning it clockwise. Ensure it is as tight as possible to prevent the chain from loosening during operation.

7.2 Chain Lubrication

Regularly lubricate the chain with a good quality chainsaw oil (or machine oil/WD-40 as suggested by some users) to ensure smooth operation and prolong chain life. Use the provided oil bottle for application.
