2. Safety Information

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. If damage is found, do not operate the unit and contact your supplier.

3.2 Mounting

The U`King B60 can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a truss using the provided bracket. Ensure the fixture is stable and secure to prevent accidental falls.

3.3 Connections

Connect the power cable to the unit's power input and then to a suitable power outlet. For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the DMX IN port on the fixture. For multiple units in a DMX chain, connect from DMX OUT of the first unit to DMX IN of the next.

4. Operating Modes

The U`King B60 offers four primary control methods: DMX, Master-Slave, Sound Activated, and Automatic. Use the LCD display and control buttons (MENU, UP, DOWN, ENTER) to navigate and select modes.

4.1 Control Panel Navigation

  • MENU: Press to cycle through main menu options.
  • UP/DOWN: Use to navigate within a menu or adjust parameter values.
  • ENTER: Confirm selection or save changes.

4.2 Automatic Mode

In Automatic mode, the fixture runs through pre-programmed light sequences without external control. To select:

  1. Press MENU until 'AUtX' (where X is a number) appears on the LCD.
  2. Use UP/DOWN to select different automatic programs.
  3. Press ENTER to confirm your selection.

4.3 Sound Activated Mode

The Sound Activated mode allows the lights to react to ambient sound. The built-in microphone detects sound levels and triggers light patterns.

To select:

  1. Press MENU until 'SOUd' appears on the LCD.
  2. Use UP/DOWN to select different sound-activated programs.
  3. Press ENTER to confirm your selection.

4.4 Master-Slave Mode

This mode allows multiple B60 units to operate in synchronization without a DMX controller. One unit acts as the 'Master' and controls all 'Slave' units.

  1. Connect the DMX OUT of the Master unit to the DMX IN of the first Slave unit. Continue chaining DMX OUT to DMX IN for all subsequent Slave units.
  2. Set the Master unit to an Automatic or Sound Activated mode.
  3. For all Slave units, press MENU until 'SLAV' appears on the LCD.
  4. Press ENTER to confirm. The Slave units will now mimic the Master unit.

4.5 DMX Mode

DMX-512 (Digital Multiplex) is a standard protocol for controlling stage lighting. The U`King B60 supports 12-channel and 19-channel DMX modes.

  1. Connect the fixture to a DMX controller.
  2. Press MENU until 'dXXX' (where XXX is the DMX address) appears on the LCD.
  3. Use UP/DOWN to set the desired DMX starting address (001-512).
  4. Press ENTER to confirm.
  5. To select the DMX channel mode (12CH or 19CH), navigate through the menu options (refer to the specific DMX channel chart for your desired mode).

5. DMX Control

The U`King B60 can be controlled via a DMX-512 controller, offering precise command over its functions. The fixture supports both 12-channel and 19-channel modes. Below is a generic DMX channel assignment table. Refer to the product's specific DMX chart for exact functions and values.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Disconnect power before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit.
  • For lenses, use a specialized lens cleaning solution and a soft cloth to avoid scratches.
  • Periodically clean ventilation openings to prevent dust buildup.

6.2 Storage

When not in use, store the fixture in a dry, dust-free environment. If possible, use the original packaging for protection during storage and transport.
