Controls and Ports:

• Power/Mode Knob: Rotary knob on top for power on/off and switching between modes (Bluetooth, DAB, FM, AUX).
• Play/Pause Button: For media playback control in Bluetooth mode.
• Previous/Next Buttons: For track navigation in Bluetooth mode or station tuning in radio modes.

Setup

Initial Charging:

1. Before first use, fully charge the MD-2 speaker.
2. Connect the supplied Micro USB charging cable to the Micro USB port on the back of the speaker.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not supplied) or a computer USB port.
4. The charging indicator on the display will show charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator will change.

Power On/Off:

• To power on, rotate the Power/Mode knob clockwise until the display lights up.
• To power off, rotate the Power/Mode knob counter-clockwise until the display turns off.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing:

1. Power on the MD-2 speaker.
2. Rotate the Power/Mode knob to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "Bluetooth" and the Bluetooth icon will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "Veho MD-2" from the list.
5. Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth icon on the display will stop flashing.
6. You can now play audio from your device through the MD-2 speaker.

DAB/FM Radio Operation:

1. Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.
2. Rotate the Power/Mode knob to select DAB or FM mode.
3. Auto Scan: In DAB mode, the speaker will automatically scan for available stations on first use. In FM mode, press and hold the Play/Pause button to auto-scan.
4. Manual Tuning: Use the Previous/Next buttons to manually tune to stations.
5. Saving Presets: To save a station, tune to the desired station, then press and hold a Preset button (e.g., P1, P2). The display will show "Preset Saved".
6. Recalling Presets: Briefly press the corresponding Preset button to recall a saved station.

Alarm Clock Functionality:

1. Press the Alarm button to enter alarm setup.
2. Use the Previous/Next buttons to adjust the hour and minute, and the Play/Pause button to confirm each setting.
3. Set the alarm source (Buzzer, DAB, or FM).
4. Set the alarm volume.
5. Confirm to activate the alarm. The alarm icon will appear on the display.
6. To snooze, press any button (except Power) when the alarm sounds.
7. To stop the alarm, press the Power/Mode knob.

Auxiliary Input (AUX):

1. Connect one end of the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input port on the MD-2 speaker.
2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
3. Rotate the Power/Mode knob to select AUX mode.
4. Play audio from your external device. Volume can be controlled on both the MD-2 and your external device.

Hands-Free Calling:

• When connected via Bluetooth, the MD-2 speaker's integrated microphone allows for hands-free calls.
• When a call comes in, music playback will automatically pause.
• Press the Play/Pause button to answer an incoming call.
• Press the Play/Pause button again to end the call.
• To reject a call, press and hold the Play/Pause button.

Maintenance

• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
• Do not expose the battery to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight or fire.
• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the speaker yourself. Refer to qualified service personnel.
