Controls and Ports:
- Power/Mode Knob: Rotary knob on top for power on/off and switching between modes (Bluetooth, DAB, FM, AUX).
- Play/Pause Button: For media playback control in Bluetooth mode.
- Previous/Next Buttons: For track navigation in Bluetooth mode or station tuning in radio modes.

Setup
Initial Charging:
- Before first use, fully charge the MD-2 speaker.
- Connect the supplied Micro USB charging cable to the Micro USB port on the back of the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not supplied) or a computer USB port.
- The charging indicator on the display will show charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator will change.
Power On/Off:
- To power on, rotate the Power/Mode knob clockwise until the display lights up.
- To power off, rotate the Power/Mode knob counter-clockwise until the display turns off.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Power on the MD-2 speaker.
- Rotate the Power/Mode knob to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "Bluetooth" and the Bluetooth icon will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Veho MD-2" from the list.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth icon on the display will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your device through the MD-2 speaker.
DAB/FM Radio Operation:
- Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.
- Rotate the Power/Mode knob to select DAB or FM mode.
- Auto Scan: In DAB mode, the speaker will automatically scan for available stations on first use. In FM mode, press and hold the Play/Pause button to auto-scan.
- Manual Tuning: Use the Previous/Next buttons to manually tune to stations.
- Saving Presets: To save a station, tune to the desired station, then press and hold a Preset button (e.g., P1, P2). The display will show "Preset Saved".
- Recalling Presets: Briefly press the corresponding Preset button to recall a saved station.
Alarm Clock Functionality:
- Press the Alarm button to enter alarm setup.
- Use the Previous/Next buttons to adjust the hour and minute, and the Play/Pause button to confirm each setting.
- Set the alarm source (Buzzer, DAB, or FM).
- Set the alarm volume.
- Confirm to activate the alarm. The alarm icon will appear on the display.
- To snooze, press any button (except Power) when the alarm sounds.
- To stop the alarm, press the Power/Mode knob.
Auxiliary Input (AUX):
- Connect one end of the supplied 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input port on the MD-2 speaker.
- Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
- Rotate the Power/Mode knob to select AUX mode.
- Play audio from your external device. Volume can be controlled on both the MD-2 and your external device.
Hands-Free Calling:
- When connected via Bluetooth, the MD-2 speaker's integrated microphone allows for hands-free calls.
- When a call comes in, music playback will automatically pause.
- Press the Play/Pause button to answer an incoming call.
- Press the Play/Pause button again to end the call.
- To reject a call, press and hold the Play/Pause button.
Maintenance
- Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
- Do not expose the battery to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight or fire.
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the speaker yourself. Refer to qualified service personnel.
