Installation Guide

Mounting the Gauge

The ELING 6-in-1 gauge requires an 85mm (3-3/8 inch) diameter hole for installation. Ensure there is sufficient clearance behind the panel for wiring and the gauge body.

1. Cut an 85mm (3-3/8") hole in the panel, allowing for clearance behind the panel.
2. Insert the gauge into the hole from the front.
3. Tighten the gauge using the supplied fastening nut on the rear.

Wiring Connections

Connect the cables following the guide below. Refer to the wiring diagram for precise connections.

• Black: GND (-) - Connect to vehicle ground.
• Red: IGN+ (12/24V) - Connect to ignition switched positive power.
• Orange: RPM Signal or W-Terminal - Connect to the tachometer signal source.
• Green: External Button (+) - Connect one pin of the external button.
• Purple: TEMP Signal - Connect to the water temperature sensor.
• Brown: Oil Pressure Signal - Connect to the oil pressure sensor.
• Blue: Fuel Gauge Signal - Connect to the fuel level sensor.
• Yellow: Blank - Not used for this model.

Operating Instructions

Parameter Setting Mode

To enter the parameter setting mode, press and hold the back button (or the external button if connected) while powering on the gauge. The LCD will display a sequence of setting options: OILP, HOUR, UNIT, PULSE, OIL, ATER.

Use the external button to navigate through the options and adjust values. Release the button to confirm a selection or value and move to the next setting.

1. OILP (Oil Pressure Gauge) Setting

The LCD will show "S00000". Press the button to set the target range. Refer to Table A for available options. Release the button to complete flashing and save the setting.

2. HOUR (Change Working Hours) Setting

The LCD will show "00000.0". The digital part is adjustable via the button. Measuring range is 0-99999.9 hours. Press the button to set the desired hour value and wait for the menu to complete flashing.

3. UNIT (Water Temperature & Oil Pressure Unit) Setting

The LCD will show "℃", "℉", "PSI", "bar". Press the button to choose the target unit. Release the button and wait for the menu to complete flashing.

4. PULSE (Set Tach RPM Ratio) Setting

Unit: 0.01 pulse/round. For example, P100 indicates 1 pulse/round. The LCD will show "P00000". Measuring range is 0~39999. Press the button to change from 0 to 99999. Release the button and wait for the menu to complete flashing.

5. OIL (Set Fuel Gauge Signal) Setting

The LCD will show "O00000" (Ohm range 10-180Ω). Press the button to set the target ohm range. Refer to Table B for available options. Release the button and wait for the menu to complete flashing.

6. ATER (Set Water Temperature Signal) Setting

The LCD will show "t00000" (Ohm range 291.4-22.4Ω). Press the button to set the target ohm range. Refer to Table C for available options. Release the button and wait for the menu to complete flashing.

Important Note: After setting, you should disconnect both Power+ and GND, and then reconnect the two cables, then it will save the setting. If you just cut Power+, then it's not saved.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ELING 6-in-1 Gauge Set, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Wipe the gauge display and housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface.
• Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. Inspect the gauge for any signs of physical damage.
• Waterproof Seal: Although the gauge is 100% waterproof, ensure the mounting area remains sealed to prevent water ingress behind the panel.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ELING 6-in-1 Gauge Set, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Gauge Not Powering On:
  • Check the power (Red wire) and ground (Black wire) connections. Ensure they are securely connected to the correct terminals and receiving proper voltage (12V/24V).
  • Verify the vehicle's fuse for the gauge circuit is intact.
• Incorrect Readings (Tachometer, Fuel, Temp, Oil Pressure):
  • Ensure the signal wires (Orange, Purple, Brown, Blue) are correctly connected to their respective sensors.
  • Re-enter the parameter setting mode and verify that the correct sensor signal type (OILP, PULSE, OIL, ATER) has been selected and saved. Remember to disconnect and reconnect power after saving.
  • Check the sensors themselves for proper function and connection.
• Display Not Visible in Bright Sunlight:
  • While the gauge features a high-definition LCD, extreme direct sunlight can sometimes affect visibility. Consider repositioning or adding a shade if possible.
• Hourmeter Not Accumulating:
  • Ensure the gauge is receiving continuous power when the engine is running.
