4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Battery Installation
- Turn the mouse over to access the bottom panel.
- Locate the battery compartment cover. Gently slide or lift the cover to open it.
- Insert one AA battery into the battery slot, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches the indicators inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.
4.2. Connecting the USB Nano Receiver
- Locate the USB nano receiver, which is typically stored in a dedicated slot on the bottom of the mouse (refer to Figure 3.2).
- Carefully remove the USB nano receiver from its storage slot.
- Plug the USB nano receiver into an available USB port on your computer (desktop, laptop, notebook, PC).
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch located on the bottom of the device.
- Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This process may take a few moments.
- Once the drivers are installed, the mouse is ready for use.
Note: For optimal performance, ensure the mouse is within 10 meters (33 feet) of the USB receiver.
