4. Installation Guide

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is off before beginning installation.

4.1. Removing the Original Radio

  1. Carefully pry off the dashboard trim surrounding the original radio using a plastic pry tool.
  2. Unscrew the mounting screws securing the original radio.
  3. Gently pull out the original radio unit.
  4. Disconnect all electrical connectors and antenna cables from the rear of the original radio.
  5. Disconnect the climate control board from its wiring harness.

4.2. Preparing the New Unit

  1. Remove the clips from the original car frame and install them onto the new unit's frame.
  2. Connect the climate control board to the new unit's frame. Secure it with screws.

4.3. Connecting Wiring and Antennas

  1. Connect the main power harness to the new unit and the vehicle's wiring.
  2. Connect the camera cable to the "CCD-V" input on the new unit.
  3. Connect the GPS antenna to the designated port on the new unit. Route the GPS antenna to the A-pillar of the car for optimal signal reception.
  4. Connect the 4G antenna to the designated port. Remove the adhesive tape and stick the 4G antenna inside the center console.
  5. Connect the speaker (if included) to the designated port. Remove the adhesive tape and stick the speaker inside the center console.
  6. Connect the radio antenna.
  7. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot (if applicable).

4.4. Installing the New Unit

  1. Carefully slide the new car stereo unit into the dashboard opening.
  2. Ensure all connections are secure and no wires are pinched.
  3. Secure the unit with the appropriate screws.
  4. Reattach the dashboard trim.
