- Temperature Control: The NTC Intelligent Temperature Control System maintains precise temperatures (197°F for crema extraction, 212°F for delicate foam) for optimal results.

4.2 Frothing Milk
- Prepare Milk: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy). Do not fill more than one-third full to allow for expansion.
- Activate Steam: Turn the steam knob to the steam icon. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate steadily, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.
- Purge Steam Wand: Before frothing, place an empty cup under the steam wand and briefly open the steam knob to release any condensed water. Close the knob.
- Froth Milk: Immerse the steam wand tip just below the surface of the milk. Slowly open the steam knob. Move the pitcher up and down to create microfoam. Continue until the desired texture and temperature are reached.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
5.1 Daily Cleaning
- Clean Portafilter and Filter Baskets: After each use, remove the portafilter, discard used coffee grounds, and rinse the portafilter and filter basket under warm water.

- Clean Group Head: Place an empty cup under the group head and press the single cup button to flush out any remaining coffee grounds.
- Clean Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray and its cover daily.
- Clean Steam Wand: As mentioned in operation, wipe the steam wand immediately after use and purge it to prevent milk residue buildup. The nozzle is removable for thorough cleaning.
5.2 Descaling
Regular descaling is crucial to maintain machine performance and extend its lifespan. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage. It is recommended every 2-3 months.
- Prepare Descaling Solution: Mix a descaling solution (e.g., citric acid or commercial descaler) with water according to the descaler's instructions. Fill the water tank with this solution.
- Run Solution Through Brewer: Place a large container under the group head. Press the single cup button to dispense about half of the solution through the brewing head. Stop the process.
- Run Solution Through Steam Wand: Place another container under the steam wand. Turn the steam knob to release steam until about half of the remaining solution has passed through. Close the knob.
- Soak: Let the machine sit for at least 15-20 minutes to allow the descaling solution to work.
- Rinse: After soaking, run the remaining solution through both the brewing head and steam wand until the tank is empty.
- Rinse with Fresh Water: Fill the water tank with fresh, clean water. Run two full tanks of fresh water through the machine (half through the brewing head, half through the steam wand) to thoroughly rinse out any descaler residue.
