Setup

1. Initial Setup and Charging

Before first use, ensure the earbuds are fully charged. Remove the protective film from the earbuds, place them back into the charging case, close the lid, and connect the USB-C cable to a power source. Charge for at least 10 minutes for initial use, or until the indicator light shows a full charge.

2. Pairing with Your Device

The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode when you open the charging case lid for the first time. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and select "Soundcore Life P2i" from the list of available devices. Once connected, the earbuds will automatically pair with your device whenever you open the case lid.

3. Wearing the Earbuds

Choose the ear tips that provide the most secure and comfortable fit. Gently insert the earbuds into your ear canals and rotate them slightly to lock them into place. A proper fit ensures optimal sound quality and noise isolation.

Operating the Earbuds

1. Button Controls

Each earbud features a physical button for easy control of music playback, calls, and EQ modes. Refer to the diagram below for specific functions:

• Play/Pause: Press once on either earbud.
• Next Track: Double press the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Double press the left earbud.
• Answer/End Call: Press once on either earbud.
• Reject Call: Press and hold for 2 seconds on either earbud.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Triple press the right earbud.
• Switch EQ Mode: Triple press the left earbud to cycle between Bass Mode and Podcast Mode.

2. Single Bud Use

You can seamlessly enjoy music or make calls using only one earbud. Simply remove either the left or right earbud from the charging case, and it will automatically connect to your paired device. The other earbud can remain in the case.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regularly clean your earbuds and charging case to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surfaces. For ear tips, remove them from the earbuds and clean with a mild soap solution if necessary, then rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reattaching.

2. Charging Best Practices

To prolong battery life, charge the earbuds and case using the provided USB-C cable. Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the case and earbuds at least once every three months.

3. Water Resistance

The Soundcore Life P2i earbuds are IPX5-rated, meaning they are resistant to sweat, light rain, and water splashes from any direction. They are not designed for submersion in water or for use during swimming. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging to prevent damage.
