- EXO Barrier Protection: An advanced coating that repels water, oil, fog, dust, and debris.
Setup
1. Mounting the Riflescope
Securely mount the Bushnell Match PRO riflescope to your rifle using appropriate Picatinny mount rings (not included). Ensure the scope is level and eye relief is set correctly for your shooting position. Refer to your rifle's manual for specific mounting instructions.
2. Fast Focus Eyepiece Adjustment
The fast focus eyepiece allows you to sharpen the reticle for your individual vision. To adjust:
- Point the riflescope at a clear, bright area (e.g., a blank wall or the sky). Do not point it at the sun.
- Look through the eyepiece and quickly glance at the reticle.
- Adjust the eyepiece (typically by rotating it) until the reticle appears sharp and clear. Avoid staring at the reticle for too long, as your eye may compensate for blurriness.
- Once the reticle is sharp, it should remain in focus for your eye.

3. Zeroing the Riflescope
Zeroing involves aligning the point of impact with the point of aim. The Match PRO features tool-less locking turrets for easy adjustments.
- After mounting, fire a group of shots at your desired zero distance.
- To adjust the turrets, pull up the turret cap. This unlocks the turret.
- Rotate the elevation and windage turrets to move the point of impact to your desired zero. Each click represents 1/10th of a MIL.
- Once adjustments are made, push the turret cap back down to lock it in place.
- To reset the zero indicator after achieving your zero, pull up the turret cap, rotate the cap until the "0" aligns with the indicator mark, and then push the cap back down to lock. This allows for quick return to your established zero.

Operating the Riflescope
1. Magnification Adjustment
The riflescope offers a magnification range from 6x to 24x. Rotate the magnification ring located near the eyepiece to adjust the zoom level. The First Focal Plane (FFP) reticle ensures that the reticle scales with the magnification, maintaining accurate holdovers.
2. Parallax Adjustment
Parallax is the apparent movement of the reticle relative to the target when the eye is moved off-axis. The Match PRO features a side parallax adjustment knob that can be set from 10 yards to infinity. Adjust this knob until the target and reticle appear sharp and in the same focal plane, eliminating parallax error. This wide range is particularly beneficial for close-range rimfire shooting.

3. Deploy MIL Reticle
The riflescope is equipped with an etched glass Deploy MIL Reticle. This reticle provides precise holdover points for elevation (up to 15 MIL) and windage (up to 10 MIL), aiding in accurate shot placement at various distances.

4. Illuminated Reticle
The Deploy MIL Reticle features illumination for improved visibility in low-light conditions. The illumination control is typically integrated with the parallax knob or a separate dial. Adjust the brightness to your preference. The design includes "off" positions between each brightness setting to quickly turn off illumination without cycling through all levels.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning Lenses
Use a soft, lint-free cloth or lens brush to remove dust and loose debris. For smudges or fingerprints, use a lens cleaning solution and a clean microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the lens coatings.
2. EXO Barrier Protection
Your Bushnell Match PRO riflescope features EXO Barrier protection on the exterior lens surfaces. This proprietary coating repels water, oil, fog, dust, and debris, ensuring clear views in challenging conditions. While durable, proper cleaning practices should still be followed to maintain its effectiveness.

3. General Care
Store the riflescope in a dry, cool place when not in use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Always use lens caps to protect the objective and eyepiece lenses from scratches and dust.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your riflescope, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Blurred Reticle: Re-adjust the fast focus eyepiece as described in the Setup section.
- Blurred Target: Adjust the parallax knob until the target appears sharp.
- Inaccurate Shots: Verify that the riflescope is securely mounted and that the turrets are locked after adjustment. Check your zero.
- Illumination Not Working: Check the battery and ensure it is correctly installed. Adjust the illumination dial.
