Setup and Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two adults for assembly.

1. Prepare the Area: Clear a spacious area for assembly. Lay out all components and hardware.
2. Assemble the Main Bed Frames:

   Begin by assembling the two individual twin platform bed frames. Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard sections using the provided hardware. Do not fully tighten screws until all parts are aligned.

3. Install Bed Slats:

   Once the main frames are stable, place the wooden slats across the support beams. Secure each slat with the provided screws. Ensure even spacing for optimal mattress support.

4. Assemble the Built-in Desk/Table:

   Assemble the central square table unit according to the diagrams. This unit connects the two twin bed frames to form the L-shape.

5. Connect L-Shaped Configuration:

   Carefully position the two assembled twin bed frames and the central desk unit to form the L-shape. Securely connect all three sections using the designated hardware. Fully tighten all screws and bolts at this stage.

6. Assemble the Trundle Bed:

   Assemble the trundle bed frame, including its side rails and slats. Ensure the wheels are properly attached for smooth operation.

7. Assemble and Install Drawers:

   Assemble the two storage drawers. Install the drawer slides and wheels. The drawers can be placed on either the left or right side of the main bed frames.

8. Final Check:

   Inspect all connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Confirm the bed is stable and level before placing mattresses.

Operating Instructions

This L-shaped bed system offers versatile functionality.

• Trundle Bed: The trundle bed is designed to slide smoothly from underneath one of the main twin beds. Gently pull the trundle out when needed and push it back in for storage. Ensure the area is clear before moving the trundle.
• Storage Drawers: The two drawers are located under the main bed frames. Pull them out to access storage space for clothing, toys, or other items. Push them back in fully to keep them neatly tucked away. The drawers can be positioned on either side of the bed during assembly.
• Built-in Desk/Table: The central square unit functions as a built-in desk or nightstand. It provides a stable surface for lamps, books, or personal items.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your bed.

• Cleaning: Wipe the wood surfaces with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the finish.
• Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
• Avoid Excessive Moisture: Protect the bed from prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight to prevent warping or fading.
