1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation and use of your WilTec Telescopic Bike Rack. Designed to store two bicycles in a space-saving manner, this rack is ideal for garages, cellars, and other confined spaces, helping to keep your floor clear and organized. Please read these instructions carefully before assembly and use, and retain them for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Maximum Load Capacity: The rack supports up to 20 kg (44 lbs) per bicycle, with a total maximum load capacity of 40 kg (88 lbs). Do not exceed these limits.
- Stable Installation: Ensure the telescopic pole is securely fixed between the floor and ceiling. The anti-slip ends must be firmly pressed against both surfaces.
- Wall Clearance: Maintain sufficient distance from the wall to prevent bicycles from scratching or dirtying it.
- Bicycle Compatibility: The fixing hooks are suitable for bicycle frames with a maximum diameter of 50 mm.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all connections and adjustments to ensure the rack remains stable and secure.
3. Components Overview
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your bike rack:
- Telescopic Pole (main vertical support)
- Adjustable Support Arms (two sets, each with two hooks)
- Anti-slip End Caps (for floor and ceiling contact)
- Mounting Hardware (screws, Allen key for securing arms)

4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps for proper assembly and installation:
- Assemble the Pole: Connect the sections of the telescopic pole. Ensure all connections are firm.
- Position the Pole: Place the assembled pole vertically between your desired floor and ceiling location. The anti-slip end caps should be at both ends.
- Adjust Height and Secure: Extend the telescopic pole until it is firmly pressed against the floor and ceiling. The anti-slip ends (Figure 2) provide a secure grip on various surfaces. No drilling is required for installation.
- Attach Support Arms: Slide the support arms onto the telescopic pole. Each arm consists of two hooks.
- Adjust Arm Position: The support arms are adjustable in height and can swivel 360 degrees (Figure 3). Adjust them to the desired height and angle to accommodate your bicycles. Secure them in place using the provided screws and Allen key.
- Secure the Arms: Tighten the screws on the support arms to prevent them from sliding or rotating unintentionally.

5. Operating Instructions
To safely store your bicycles on the rack:
- Prepare the Hooks: Ensure the hooks on the support arms are positioned correctly to cradle your bicycle frame. The hooks are adjustable in width to fit frames up to 50 mm in diameter (Figure 4).
- Mount the First Bicycle: Carefully lift your first bicycle and place its frame onto the hooks of one set of support arms. Ensure the bicycle is balanced and stable.
- Mount the Second Bicycle: Repeat the process for the second bicycle on the other set of support arms. It is recommended to place heavier bikes on the lower arms for better stability.
- Check Stability: After mounting both bicycles, gently shake the rack to confirm its stability. If there is any wobbling, re-check the pole's tension and the arm's tightness.

Figure 4: The hooks can be adjusted horizontally to fit various bike frame sizes.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the aluminum pole and plastic components with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect the telescopic mechanism, support arm connections, and anti-slip end caps for any signs of wear or damage. Tighten any loose screws.
- Lubrication: If the telescopic mechanism becomes stiff, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the sliding parts.
7. Troubleshooting
- Rack is Unstable: Ensure the telescopic pole is fully extended and firmly secured between the floor and ceiling. Check that the anti-slip end caps are making full contact and are not damaged.
- Support Arms Slide Down: Tighten the screws on the support arms using the provided Allen key. Ensure the bicycle weight does not exceed the 20 kg per arm limit.
- Difficulty Adjusting Height: Check for any obstructions or debris in the telescopic mechanism. Clean and lubricate if necessary.
