3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Unfolding the Trainer

  1. Place the trainer on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Locate the spring-loaded, bolt-action lever on the frame.
  3. Pull the lever to release the legs and unfold the trainer until it forms a stable A-frame shape. Ensure both legs are fully extended and locked into position.

3.2 Attaching Your Bicycle

  1. Replace your bike's existing rear quick-release skewer with the provided steel quick-release skewer. This ensures proper fit and security.
  2. Position your bike's rear wheel into the trainer's clamping mechanism. The skewer ends should rest securely in the trainer's cups.
  3. Tighten the quick-release lever on the trainer until the bike is firmly held in place. Ensure the bike is centered and stable.
  4. Adjust the clutch knob (yellow knob) until the roller makes firm contact with the tire. The knob should click once or twice to indicate optimal pressure, preventing slippage and ensuring accurate resistance.
  5. Place your front wheel into the included front wheel block to level the bike and provide stability.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting Resistance

The Fluid2 trainer provides progressive resistance, meaning the resistance increases as your wheel speed increases. To adjust the intensity of your workout, use your bike's gears as you would during outdoor riding. Shifting to a higher gear will increase resistance, while a lower gear will decrease it.

4.2 Connecting to Apps (Smart Equipped Option)

For enhanced training, the Fluid2 trainer can be paired with external speed and cadence sensors (sold separately, or included with Smart Equipped models) to connect with popular indoor cycling applications like Zwift, Rouvy, TrainerRoad, and others. Follow the sensor manufacturer's instructions for pairing with your preferred app.
