1. Overview
This manual provides instructions for the proper use and care of AlfaBot replacement cleaning pads, designed for the AlfaBot Window Cleaner Robot models X6 and X7. These pads are essential for effective window cleaning and are designed for easy attachment and maintenance.

2. Setup and Installation
Before operating your AlfaBot Window Cleaner Robot, ensure the cleaning pads are correctly installed.
- Prepare the Pads: Ensure the cleaning pads are clean and free from debris. For optimal cleaning, lightly dampen the pads with water or a recommended window cleaning solution, then wring out excess liquid until they are just moist. Avoid oversaturating the pads.
- Attach to Robot: Align each cleaning pad with the circular cleaning plates on the underside of your AlfaBot X6 or X7 robot. The pads are designed to attach securely via hook-and-loop fasteners. Press firmly to ensure full contact and secure attachment.

Note: For initial setup and operation of the AlfaBot Window Cleaner Robot itself, please refer to the robot's dedicated instruction manual.
3. Operation Guidelines
The cleaning pads are integral to the robot's performance. Follow these guidelines for effective cleaning:
- Dry Pass (Optional but Recommended): For heavily soiled windows, consider performing a first pass with dry pads to remove loose dust and dirt. This prevents smearing when wet cleaning.
- Wet Pass: After a dry pass, or for moderately dirty windows, use lightly dampened pads. The robot will then proceed with the cleaning cycle.
- Pad Replacement: Change pads frequently, especially when they become visibly dirty. Using soiled pads can lead to streaks and reduced cleaning efficiency. The 12-piece set allows for multiple changes during a cleaning session or across several uses.

4. Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance extends the lifespan of your cleaning pads and ensures consistent cleaning performance.
- Cleaning the Pads: After each use, remove the pads from the robot. They can be hand-washed or machine-washed with mild detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the microfiber material and reduce cleaning effectiveness.
- Drying: Air dry the pads completely before storing them or reusing them. Do not tumble dry on high heat, as this can damage the fibers.
- Storage: Store clean, dry pads in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

5. Troubleshooting Common Issues
If you encounter issues related to the cleaning pads, consider the following:
- Pads Not Sticking: Ensure the hook-and-loop fasteners on both the pad and the robot are clean and free of lint or debris. Press the pads firmly onto the robot's cleaning plates. Worn fasteners may require pad replacement.
- Streaks on Windows: This often indicates that the pads are too dirty, oversaturated, or that the window surface was not adequately pre-cleaned. Replace with fresh, lightly dampened pads. Consider a dry pass first for very dirty surfaces.
- Poor Cleaning Performance: Check if the pads are correctly attached and sufficiently clean. Ensure the pads are not excessively dry or wet.
