2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the device for any signs of damage. Ensure all parts listed in Section 3.1 are present.

4.2 Attaching the Circulator

  1. Choose a suitable heat-resistant pot or container. The container should be deep enough to allow the circulator to be immersed between its minimum and maximum water level marks.
  2. Attach the Vpcok Direct Sous Vide Cooker to the side of your container using the adjustable fixing nut. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. Fill the container with water. The water level must be above the 'MIN' mark and below the 'MAX' mark on the circulator.
  4. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

  • LED Display: Shows current temperature and time.
  • Temperature Setting Mode Button: Press to enter temperature adjustment mode.
  • Time Setting Mode Button: Press to enter time adjustment mode.
  • '+' / '-' Adjustment Buttons: Use to increase or decrease values.
  • Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
  • °C / °F Indicator: Shows the selected temperature unit.

5.2 Setting Temperature and Time

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the device.
  2. Press the Temperature Setting Mode button. The temperature display will flash. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set your desired cooking temperature (range: 25-92.5 °C / 77-198.5 °F).
  3. Press the Time Setting Mode button. The time display will flash. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set your desired cooking time (range: 0-99 hours and 59 minutes).
  4. Once both temperature and time are set, press the Power button again to start the heating process. The device will begin heating the water to the set temperature.
  5. When the water reaches the target temperature, the device will beep, and the timer will begin counting down.
  6. Place your vacuum-sealed food into the water bath.
  7. Once the timer finishes, the device will beep and stop heating. Carefully remove your food.
Examples of different doneness levels for meat at 45-50°C, 55-57°C, and 60-65°C, demonstrating efficient temperature control.

5.3 Water Circulation

The Vpcok Direct Sous Vide Cooker features 360° water circulation to ensure uniform heating throughout the cooking bath. This prevents cold spots and ensures your food cooks evenly to the desired temperature.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your sous vide cooker.

  1. Always unplug the device and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove the protective cover by twisting it counter-clockwise.
  3. Clean the stainless steel heating element and propeller with a soft cloth and mild dish soap. For stubborn mineral deposits, a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water can be used. Soak the stainless steel part in this solution for 15-30 minutes, then gently scrub.
  4. Wipe the main body of the circulator with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the top part (control panel) in water.
  5. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before reassembling and storing.
  6. Store the device in a dry, cool place.
