6. Maintenance and Care
6.1 Water Resistance Guidelines
The watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM (50 meters), making it suitable for daily use, showering, and swimming in shallow water. However, to maintain water resistance:
- DO NOT press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water.
- Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam (e.g., hot showers, saunas), as this can compromise the seals.
- Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
6.2 Cleaning
Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
7. Troubleshooting
- Digital Display is Blank: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Analog Hands Not Moving: Ensure Crown E is fully pushed in. If the issue persists, the battery may need replacement or there could be a mechanical issue.
- Buttons Unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not specify one). If wet, dry thoroughly. If still unresponsive, a reset may be needed (consult professional service if no external reset option is apparent).
- Water Inside Watch: Immediately stop using the watch and seek professional service to prevent further damage.
