2. Important Safety Instructions

The AMZCHEF Dual Zone Induction Cooktop offers versatile cooking options with its flexible zones and precise temperature control.

3.1 Key Features

  • 2-in-1 Multifunction: Features a Flexzone that combines two separate cooking areas into one larger rectangular zone (40 x 20 cm) with a total power of 3300 watts. It also includes a BBQ mode for maintaining pan surface temperature.
  • Precise Temperature Control: Equipped with IGBT electronic temperature regulation software for stable temperature curves and minimal temperature difference. Both zones have 10 refined power levels, with the highest 'B' gear for continuous high-power heating.
  • Premium Material: Made from high-quality polished ceramic glass, offering a flat, translucent surface that is heat-resistant, wear-resistant, and easy to clean.
  • Safety Functions: Includes a 1-99 minute timer, safety lock, overheat protection, automatic shut-off, dry-burn protection, and overflow protection.

3.2 Compatible Cookware

This induction cooktop is only suitable for cookware with a magnetic bottom. To check compatibility, place a magnet on the bottom of your pot or pan. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is compatible.

  • Compatible: Iron pots, cast iron pans, enameled iron, stainless steel with magnetic base.
  • Incompatible: Heat-resistant glass, copper, aluminum, ceramic pots.

4. Setup and Installation

The AMZCHEF Induction Cooktop offers two installation options: built-in or countertop use.

4.1 Installation Options

  • Built-in: For a seamless and space-saving aesthetic, the cooktop can be recessed into a countertop. Refer to the dimensions in the specifications section for cutout requirements.
  • Countertop: The cooktop can also be used as a portable unit, placed directly on a stable, flat surface.

4.2 Electrical Connection

Ensure the cooktop is connected to a 220-240V ~ 50/60Hz power supply. The appliance comes with a VDE plug. Always ensure the electrical outlet is properly grounded and capable of handling the 3300W power requirement.

IMPORTANT: Professional installation is recommended for built-in applications to ensure proper ventilation and electrical safety.

5. Operating Instructions

This section details how to use your AMZCHEF Induction Cooktop effectively.

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To turn on, press the Power button. The display will light up.
  • To turn off, press the Power button again.

5.2 Selecting Cooking Zones and Power Levels

  • Place compatible cookware on the desired cooking zone.
  • Select the zone using the corresponding touch control.
  • Adjust the power level from P1 to P9, or 'B' (Boost) using the '+' and '-' buttons. The cooktop offers 10 power levels for precise control.

5.3 Precise Temperature Control and BBQ Mode

The cooktop utilizes IGBT electronic temperature regulation for stable and precise heating. The BBQ mode, available in the Flexzone, helps maintain a consistent surface temperature for grilling.

5.4 Flexzone Function

The Flexzone feature allows you to combine two cooking zones into one large area, ideal for larger pots, griddle pans, or BBQ mode.

  • To activate Flexzone, press the dedicated Flexzone button (often indicated by an arrow icon).
  • In Flexzone mode, you can place a large pan across both zones.
  • The BBQ mode can be activated within the Flexzone to maintain a consistent surface temperature for grilling.

5.5 Timer Function

The integrated timer allows you to set a cooking duration from 1 to 99 minutes.

  • Press the Timer button.
  • Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the desired cooking time.
  • The cooktop will automatically turn off once the timer expires.

5.6 Safety Lock

Activate the safety lock to prevent accidental changes to settings or unintended operation, especially useful with children around.

  • To activate, press and hold the Lock button for a few seconds. An indicator light will appear.
  • To deactivate, press and hold the Lock button again until the indicator light turns off.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper care ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your induction cooktop.

6.1 Cleaning the Cooktop Surface

  • Always ensure the cooktop is turned off and completely cool before cleaning.
  • Use a soft cloth or sponge with a mild detergent and warm water.
  • For stubborn stains, use a ceramic hob scraper or a specialized induction cooktop cleaner.
  • Wipe dry with a clean cloth to prevent water spots.

6.2 General Care

  • Do not drop heavy objects on the cooktop surface.
  • Avoid dragging cookware across the surface to prevent scratches.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the cooktop, especially for built-in installations.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your AMZCHEF Induction Cooktop, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
