Important Safety Information

• Small Parts Warning: This kit contains small parts (pins) which may pose a choking hazard for young children. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Adult supervision is recommended for children aged 8 and up.
• Battery Safety: The LED light string requires batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity (+/-). Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Remove batteries if the product is not used for an extended period. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
• Sharp Objects: Pins are sharp. Handle with care to avoid injury.
• Paint Safety: Use paint in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to create your light-up string art.

1. Prepare the Art Board:

   Unpack the art board. If desired, use the included white paint and sponge brush to paint the surface of the board. Allow sufficient time for the paint to dry completely before proceeding.

2. Position the Stencil:

   Place the "LOVE" design template or other desired stencil onto the dried art board. Secure it in place with tape if necessary to prevent shifting during pin placement.

3. Insert Pins:

   Carefully insert the pearl-headed pins along the designated points or outline of your chosen design on the stencil. Ensure the pins are firmly pushed into the art board to provide a stable anchor for the string. Remove the stencil once all pins are in place.

4. String the Design:

   Select your desired colored strings. Tie one end of a string to a pin. Begin wrapping the string around the pins to create your chosen pattern or fill in the design. Experiment with different colors and wrapping techniques to achieve unique effects. Secure the end of the string by tying it to another pin when finished with that color.

5. Install Batteries for LED Lights:

   Locate the battery compartment on the LED light string. Open the compartment and insert the required number of AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

6. Integrate LED Lights:

   Carefully weave the LED light string through your completed string art design. Position the lights to highlight the patterns and colors. The battery pack can be discreetly placed behind the art board or secured to the back.

Operating Instructions

To operate the LED lights:

• Locate the ON/OFF switch on the battery pack of the LED light string.
• Slide the switch to the "ON" position to illuminate your string art.
• Slide the switch to the "OFF" position to turn off the lights.

Your finished string art can be displayed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall using appropriate hardware (not included).

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently dust the string art with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners directly on the art board or strings.
• Storage: Store the string art in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent fading or damage to materials.
• Battery Replacement: If the LED lights dim or stop working, replace the batteries in the LED light string's battery pack. Refer to the "Install Batteries for LED Lights" step in the Setup section.
