Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the Oversteel ULTIMET gaming chair typically involves the following steps. While specific instructions may vary slightly, this general guide covers the main components:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Verify all parts are present according to the included parts list.
- Assemble the Base: Insert the five casters (wheels) into the holes at the ends of the chair's star-shaped base.
- Install the Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled base. Cover it with the telescopic plastic cover.
- Attach the Mechanism to the Seat: Secure the multi-functional tilt mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism aligns with the front of the seat.
- Attach Armrests: Fasten the 2D adjustable armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws.
- Connect Seat to Backrest: Attach the backrest to the seat assembly. This usually involves aligning the metal brackets on the backrest with the corresponding holes on the seat mechanism or side plates and securing them with screws.
- Mount Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable.
- Attach Cushions: Position the lumbar support cushion and headrest cushion. The lumbar cushion typically straps around the backrest, and the headrest cushion slides onto the top of the backrest or attaches with straps.
Note: Refer to the specific assembly diagram included with your product for detailed visual instructions and screw identification.
Operating Instructions

3. 2D Armrest Adjustment
The armrests feature 2D adjustability, allowing for height and rotational adjustments.
- Height Adjustment: Press the button located on the side of the armrest support and move the armrest up or down to your preferred height. Release the button to lock.
- Rotational Adjustment: Gently twist the armrest pad left or right to adjust its angle.

4. Tilt Mechanism
The chair includes a tilt mechanism at the base, allowing the entire seat and backrest to rock.
- To activate/deactivate tilt: Pull out or push in the lever (often the same lever as height adjustment, or a separate one).
- To adjust tilt tension: Rotate the round knob located under the seat, usually at the front. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to tilt) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to tilt).
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap to clean the breathable fabric. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Casters: Periodically check and clean the casters to ensure smooth movement. Remove any hair or debris that may accumulate.
- Fasteners: Regularly inspect all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Gas Lift: Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the gas lift cylinder yourself. Contact support if it malfunctions.
