1. Product Overview

3. Compatibility

4. Setup and Installation

The VITILAN V3 2.0 Series battery is designed for easy installation and removal. Ensure your e-bike is powered off before handling the battery.

4.1 Installing the Battery

1. Align the battery with the designated slot on your e-bike frame.
2. Gently slide the battery into the frame until it clicks securely into place.
3. Use the provided key to lock the battery into the frame. This prevents accidental removal and acts as a security measure.

4.2 Removing the Battery

1. Ensure the e-bike is powered off.
2. Insert the key into the battery lock and turn it to the unlock position.
3. Carefully slide the battery out of the frame.

5. Charging Instructions

The battery can be charged either while installed on the e-bike or after removal.

5.1 Charging Process

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Connect the charger's output plug to the charging port on the battery.
3. The charger's indicator light will typically show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
4. Charging time is approximately 6 hours for a full charge.

6. Operation

To operate your e-bike using the VITILAN V3 2.0 Series battery, follow these steps:

6.1 Turning Power ON/OFF

1. Ensure the battery is securely installed and locked into the e-bike frame.
2. Insert the key into the battery's keyhole.
3. To turn ON the power, rotate the key to the 'ON' position.
4. To turn OFF the power, rotate the key to the 'OFF' position and remove the key.

Always remove the key when not in use to prevent unauthorized operation and to secure the battery.

7. Maintenance and Safety

7.1 Battery Management System (BMS)

7.2 General Care

• Do not disassemble, puncture, or modify the battery.
• If the battery is not used for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50-60% every 2-3 months to maintain its health.

7.3 Safety Precautions

• Do not expose the battery to fire or high temperatures.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• If the battery is damaged, leaking, or emitting an unusual odor, discontinue use immediately and contact support.
• Dispose of the battery according to local regulations for lithium-ion batteries. Do not dispose of in household waste.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your battery, consider the following common checks:

• Battery Not Charging: Ensure the charger is properly connected to both the power outlet and the battery. Check if the power outlet is functional. Verify the charger's indicator light.
• E-bike Not Powering On: Confirm the battery is fully charged and securely locked into the frame. Ensure the key is turned to the 'ON' position. Check all connections between the battery and the e-bike.
• Reduced Range: Battery range can be affected by factors such as e-bike load, terrain, riding speed, temperature, and tire pressure. Ensure the battery is fully charged before each ride.
