4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Site Preparation

4.2 Mounting the Opener

4.3 Chain Installation

• Attach the two 10ft chains (total 20ft) to the gate and route them around the drive gear.
• Ensure the chain is taut but not overly tight, allowing for smooth movement.
• If additional length is required, use ANSI #428 size roller chain sprockets for extension.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Control Operation

• The remote controls have a range of up to 100 feet.
• Each remote features a slide cover to prevent accidental button presses.
• The four buttons on the remote control the following functions:

  • Close: Fully closes the gate.
  • Stop Opening: Halts the gate while it is opening.

5.2 Wireless Keypad Pairing Guide

Follow these steps to pair a JIELI wireless keypad with your gate opener. This video demonstrates the process:

1. Enter Code State: Press the "STUDY" button on the control board of the gate opener. The control board will enter the code state.
2. Initiate Pairing: On the wireless keypad, simultaneously press the "A" and "B" keys. The control board will emit a ring, and the corresponding indicator light will flash, indicating successful code initiation.
3. Set Password: Re-enter your desired 4-6 digit password on the keypad.
4. Confirm Control: Press the "B" key on the keypad to confirm that it can now control the gate opener.

5.3 Manual Operation (Power Failure)

In the event of a power failure, the gate can be operated manually:

• Locate the manual clutch release mechanism on the gate opener unit.
• Insert the provided key and turn it to disengage the clutch.
• The gate can now be opened or closed by hand.
