3. Setup and Assembly Instructions
Assembly is designed to be straightforward. One person can typically complete assembly in approximately 5 minutes, with two people making the process even quicker.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach Armrests: The swing bench comes with the back and seat pre-assembled. Attach the two armrests to the sides of the swing bench using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are finger-tight initially.
- Secure All Connections: Once all armrests are in place, use the included wrench to fully tighten all bolts and nuts. Do not overtighten.
- Connect Hanging Chains: Attach the hanging chains to the designated points on the swing bench. Ensure the chains are securely fastened.
- Hang the Swing: Carefully lift the swing and hang it onto your existing sturdy swing frame or ceiling hooks. Ensure the frame/hooks are rated for the swing's weight capacity.

4. Operating Instructions
The VINGLI Metal Patio Porch Swing is designed for comfortable and relaxing use. Follow these guidelines for optimal experience:
- Seating: The swing features an ergonomic design with curves in the knee area and dense seat intervals for a comfortable sitting experience.
- Adjusting Swing Angle: The upgraded chains allow for angle adjustment. To adjust, carefully take the swing down from its hanging position. Find a proper tilting position by adjusting the chain links, then re-lock the chains and re-hang the swing. This allows you to customize the recline for better comfort.
- Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly when multiple users are on the swing, ensuring not to exceed the 660 lbs capacity.

5. Maintenance

- Winter Storage: During off-season or harsh weather, it is recommended to cover the swing or store it indoors to protect it from extreme elements.
