4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly is straightforward and typically takes about 10-15 minutes. Follow these steps carefully:
- Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair base. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the chair base.
- Attach Armrests to Seat: Align the armrests with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure them using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.
- Attach Backrest to Seat/Armrests: Connect the backrest to the armrests and the rear of the seat cushion using the remaining screws. Ensure proper alignment before tightening all screws.
- Place Assembled Top onto Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center mechanism aligns with the top of the gas lift.

5. Operating Instructions
The VINGLI Charles Home Office Chair offers several adjustable features for personalized comfort:
5.1. Height Adjustment
To adjust the seat height:
- To raise the seat: While standing, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever at the desired height.
- To lower the seat: While seated, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.

5.2. Tilt Function and Tension Control
The chair features a tilt function allowing the backrest to recline. The tilt tension can be adjusted to suit your preference.
- To enable/disable tilt: Pull the same lever used for height adjustment outwards to unlock the tilt mechanism, allowing the chair to recline. Push the lever inwards to lock the chair in an upright position.
- To adjust tilt tension: Rotate the round knob located under the front-center of the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

5.3. Lumbar Support and Ergonomics
