The drill features a 13 mm metal chuck for secure bit retention. To install a drill bit or screwdriver bit:
- Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise until the jaws are wide enough to insert the bit.
- Insert the bit fully into the chuck.
- Rotate the chuck clockwise firmly to tighten the jaws around the bit. For best results, give the chuck a final hand-tighten to ensure the bit is secure and centered.

Operating Instructions
1. Mode Selection (Drilling, Screwdriving, Hammer Drilling)
The drill offers multiple modes for various applications. Rotate the collar behind the chuck to select the desired mode:
- Screwdriving Mode: Indicated by a screw icon. Use for driving and removing screws. The torque clutch will disengage once the set torque is reached.
- Drilling Mode: Indicated by a drill bit icon. Use for drilling into wood, metal, and plastics. The clutch is bypassed in this mode for maximum power.
- Hammer Drilling Mode: Indicated by a hammer icon. Use for drilling into masonry and concrete. This mode engages the hammer mechanism for added impact.
2. Torque and Speed Settings
Adjust the torque setting by rotating the numbered ring behind the mode selector. Higher numbers indicate higher torque. For screwdriving, start with a lower setting and increase as needed to prevent over-tightening or stripping screws.
The drill features two speed gears, selected via a switch on top of the tool:
- Gear 1 (Low Speed): For high torque applications like driving large screws or drilling large holes.
- Gear 2 (High Speed): For faster drilling in smaller diameters or softer materials.
3. Trigger and Direction Control
The variable speed trigger allows for precise control over drilling speed. Press the trigger gently for slower speeds and increase pressure for higher speeds.
The forward/reverse switch, located above the trigger, controls the rotation direction. Push it left for forward (clockwise) rotation and right for reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation. Position it in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental startup.
