4. Setup and Installation

1. Choose Location: Select a suitable location on the wall, ideally next to your EV wall box, ensuring it is within easy reach of your charging cable. Make sure the surface is solid and can support the weight of the holder and the charging cable plug.
2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the wall mount against the chosen location on the wall. Use a pencil to mark the positions for the four mounting holes. Ensure the holder is level before marking.
3. Drill Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type (e.g., masonry bit for concrete/brick, wood bit for studs), drill holes at the marked points. The depth and diameter of the holes should match the provided wall dowels.
4. Insert Dowels: Insert the four wall dowels into the drilled holes. Tap them gently with a hammer until they are flush with the wall surface.
5. Mount Holder: Align the mounting holes on the DELTACO wall mount with the inserted dowels. Insert the provided screws through the holder's holes and into the dowels.
6. Secure Holder: Tighten the screws firmly with a screwdriver until the wall mount is securely fastened to the wall. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions

• To Store the Plug: After charging your electric vehicle, disconnect the Type 2 charging cable plug from your vehicle. Insert the plug firmly into the DELTACO wall mount. It should click securely into place.
• To Remove the Plug: When you need to charge your vehicle, simply press the release button on the charging cable plug (if applicable) and pull the plug out of the wall mount. The holder allows for quick and easy removal with one hand.
