Warning: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 200 kg (440 lbs). Please note that some older instructions may state 150 kg, but the updated capacity is 200 kg.

Ensure the chair's stability, especially due to its larger size.

Exercise caution when adjusting movable parts such as the backrest and foldable armrests to prevent injury.

For optimal use, this chair is suitable for individuals between 155-185 cm (5'1" - 6'1") in height.

Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
2. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair base. Push firmly until they click into place.
3. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the chair base.
4. Attach Mechanism to Seat: Secure the control mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat.
5. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder.
6. Attach Backrest: Align the backrest with the mounting points on the seat mechanism. Secure it with screws.
7. Install Armrests: Attach the armrests to the seat and backrest. Important Note: When attaching the armrests, do not fully tighten the screws on one side until the other armrest is aligned with its mounting hole. Once both are aligned, tighten all screws securely.
8. Final Check: Ensure all screws are tightened and the chair is stable before use.

Operating and Adjustments

The MELOKEA Ergonomic Office Chair offers multiple adjustment options to customize your sitting experience for optimal comfort and support.

1. Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height (48-58 cm range), pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards.

• To raise the seat: Lift the lever while taking your weight off the seat.
• To lower the seat: Lift the lever while seated.

2. Recline and Rocking Function

The chair features a 90°-115° rocking function with two modes: tilt or lock.

• To enable rocking: Pull the lever on the left side of the seat outwards (unlock).
• To lock the recline position: Push the lever inwards (lock).
• Tension adjustment: Rotate the round knob under the seat to adjust the tension of the rocking mechanism, allowing for free adjustment of elasticity.

3. Headrest Adjustment

The large headrest can be adjusted up and down by 6 cm to provide tailored neck support.

4. Armrest Adjustment

The armrests are reversible and can be folded up by 90 degrees, allowing the chair to be pushed closer to a desk or stored compactly.

5. Lumbar Support

The uniquely designed S-shaped low back lumbar support conforms to the curve of the human body, providing precise support and considering the needs of each part of the spine.

6. Seat Cushion

The improved foam seat cushion is 10cm thick, softer, and more supportive. Wrapped in breathable fabric, it adapts to the curve of the hips, distributes pressure, and retains its original shape over time.

• Gas Lift: The gas lift is maintenance-free. Do not attempt to disassemble it.
