1. Introduction

The Wasserstein 2-in-1 Universal Gutter Mount provides a versatile and drill-free solution for mounting your compatible security cameras and solar panels. Designed for outdoor use, this mount offers an elevated viewing angle and optimal sunlight exposure for solar-powered devices, ensuring enhanced security and continuous operation.

2. Package Contents

Please verify that all components are present in your package:

• 1 x Gutter Mount Assembly (includes main arm and clamp)
• 1 x Wall Mount Bracket
• 2 x Long Thumb Screws
• 2 x Short Thumb Screws
• 2 x Machine Screws (for attaching wall bracket to metal bracket)

3. Compatibility

4. Setup and Installation

The Wasserstein 2-in-1 Universal Gutter Mount offers two primary installation methods: gutter mounting and wall mounting. Both methods are designed for ease of use and secure attachment.

4.1 Gutter Mounting (No Drilling Required)

This method allows for flexible placement without drilling holes into your home's exterior.

1. Assemble the Clamp: Attach the long or short thumb screws to the metal bracket of the gutter clamp. Choose the screw length that best fits your gutter's thickness for a secure grip. The included screw caps can be used to widen the clamping area for better stability and to prevent damage to your gutters.
2. Attach to Gutter: Position the gutter clamp over the edge of your rain gutter. Tighten the thumb screws until the clamp is firmly secured. For maximum stability, try to install the mount as close as possible to existing gutter brackets.
3. Attach Camera/Solar Panel: Screw your camera or solar panel onto the threaded post at the end of the adjustable arm. Ensure it is tightened securely.
4. Adjust Position: Utilize the ball joint and adjustable arm to achieve the desired viewing angle for your camera and optimal sunlight exposure for your solar panel.

4.2 Wall Mounting

For situations where gutter mounting is not feasible or preferred, the mount can be adapted for wall installation.

1. Detach Gutter Clamp: The main arm assembly can be detached from the gutter clamp.
2. Attach Wall Bracket: Screw the wall mount bracket to the desired location on your wall using the provided mounting screws and anchors.
3. Attach Main Arm: Slide the main arm assembly onto the wall mount bracket and secure it with the included torque screw.
4. Attach Camera/Solar Panel: Screw your camera or solar panel onto the threaded post.
5. Adjust Position: Adjust the angle of the camera and solar panel as needed.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the Wasserstein 2-in-1 Universal Gutter Mount allows for flexible positioning to optimize your camera's field of view and your solar panel's energy collection.

• Camera Angle: Loosen the adjustment knobs on the mount's arm to tilt, swivel, and rotate your camera for the best surveillance coverage. Tighten the knobs firmly once the desired angle is achieved.
• Solar Panel Orientation: For solar panels, adjust the panel's angle to face the sun directly for the longest possible duration throughout the day. This maximizes charging efficiency.
• 2-in-1 Mounting: When mounting both a camera and a solar panel, ensure the camera's view is unobstructed and the solar panel receives adequate sunlight. The adjustable arms allow for independent positioning of each device.

• Mount feels loose: Ensure all thumb screws and the torque screw (for wall mount) are tightened securely. Re-adjust the clamp on the gutter if necessary, ensuring it's close to a gutter bracket for added stability.
• Camera/Solar Panel not holding position: Tighten the ball joint and arm adjustment knobs firmly.
• Poor solar panel charging: Verify the solar panel is clean and oriented towards direct sunlight for most of the day. Check for any obstructions.
• Camera issues: For specific camera functionality or connectivity problems, refer to the instruction manual provided with your security camera.
