Setup
- Place the game board in the center of the playing area.
- Each player chooses a rabbit figure and places it on one of the four corner spaces of the game board.
- Shuffle the 12 vegetable tokens face down and place one token into each of the 12 holes on the game board. Ensure the tokens are hidden from view.
- Each player takes a player card. These cards are used to track collected vegetables.
- The youngest player goes first. Play proceeds clockwise.
Operating (How to Play)
Objective
The goal of Grabbit is to be the first player to collect one of each of the four different types of vegetables (carrot, radish, potato, onion).
Game Turn
On your turn, follow these steps:
- Choose a Rabbit: Select any rabbit on the board (it doesn't have to be your own).
- Move the Rabbit: Move the chosen rabbit by jumping over one or more adjacent rabbits (horizontally or vertically). The rabbit must land on an empty space immediately after the last rabbit it jumped over. You cannot jump over empty spaces or cacti.
- Collect a Vegetable: After moving, lift the rabbit to reveal the vegetable token hidden in the hole it landed on.
- If it's a vegetable you haven't collected yet, take the token and place it on your player card.
- If you already have that vegetable, or if it's a mole token, return the token face down to the hole.
- Mole Token: If you reveal a mole token, you must return one of your previously collected vegetable tokens (if you have any) back to any empty hole on the board, face down.
Winning the Game
The first player to collect one of each of the four different vegetable tokens on their player card wins the game!

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity of your Grabbit game:
- Cleaning: Wipe game components with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or liquids.
- Storage: Store all game pieces and the board in the original box in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Handling: Handle game pieces gently to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
- Missing Pieces: If any components are missing upon opening, please contact SmartGames customer support for assistance.
- Rules Clarification: If you have questions about specific rules, re-read the 'Operating (How to Play)' section or visit the official SmartGames website for FAQs and additional resources.
- Game Difficulty: For younger players, consider simplifying the game by playing without the mole tokens or by allowing players to choose any revealed vegetable, even if they already have it, to focus on the jumping mechanic.
