5.1 Programming TV Functions
The remote is pre-programmed with the most important functions for LG and SAMSUNG TVs. To program the 4 TV control buttons for other TV brands or custom functions:
- Press and hold the SET button on the remote until the LED light stays lit.
- Press the desired programmable button (e.g., POWER for TV).
- Point your TV's original remote control directly at the EDISION remote's IR sensor (usually at the top) from a distance of 2-3 cm.
- Press and hold the corresponding button on your TV's original remote (e.g., TV Power).
- The LED on the EDISION remote will flash three times to confirm successful programming.
- Repeat for other buttons. Press SET again to exit programming mode.
6. Setup
6.1 Connecting the Receiver
Follow these steps to connect your EDISION Picco T265+ receiver to your television and antenna:
- Antenna Connection: Connect your terrestrial or cable antenna to the ANT IN port on the rear panel of the receiver.
- Video/Audio Connection:
- For modern TVs: Connect an HDMI cable from the HD OUT port on the receiver to an available HDMI input on your TV.
- For older TVs: Connect a SCART cable from the SCART port on the receiver to the SCART input on your TV.
- Power Connection: Connect the external power supply unit to the DC 5V input on the receiver, then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
