Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the light unit. This is typically on the top surface of the light module.
- Gently open the battery compartment cover. If it is stiff, a small flat-head screwdriver may be used to carefully pry it open.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries into the compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.
2. Adjusting the Headband
- The headband is designed to be soft and stretchy for comfort.
- Place the headband around your head so the light unit is positioned on your forehead.
- Adjust the band to achieve a snug yet comfortable fit. The band can adjust from approximately 5.5 inches to 14.25 inches in diameter.
- Ensure the light unit is stable and does not slip during movement. The non-slip grip on the inner side of the headband helps maintain position.
Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off and Mode Selection
The Energizer Headband Light features a single button for power control and mode cycling.
- To Turn On: Press the power button located on the top of the light unit once. The light will activate in its default mode (High).
- To Cycle Modes: While the light is on, press the power button again to switch between the available light modes (High and Low).
- To Turn Off: Press the power button a third time to turn the light off.
The High mode provides up to 100 lumens of bright light, suitable for activities requiring maximum illumination. The Low mode offers extended runtime, up to 19 hours, for tasks requiring less intense light or to conserve battery life.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
- When the light output diminishes significantly, it is time to replace the batteries.
- Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
- Always replace both AAA batteries at the same time with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Cleaning
- Wipe the light unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- The headband can be hand-washed with mild soap and water, then air-dried. Ensure the light unit is removed or protected from water during cleaning of the band.
Storage
- Store the headband light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Remove batteries before long-term storage.
