5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Preparation: Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Wipe the surface thoroughly to remove dust or grease.
2. Measure and Cut: Measure the desired length for your installation. The LED strip can be cut at designated cutting marks, which are approximately every 41.5mm (1.63 inches). Use sharp scissors to ensure a clean cut.

3. Adhesion: Peel off the protective backing from the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Carefully press the strip onto the prepared surface, applying firm and even pressure along its entire length.

4. Connection: Connect the COB LED strip to a compatible DC24V power supply. If using multiple strips or a dimmer/controller, ensure all connections are secure and polarity is correct (+ to + and - to -). The included COB connectors can be used for seamless connections.
