Setup

1. Setting the Time and Date

  1. Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch case) to the second click position.
  2. Set the time: Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
  3. Set the date/day: If your watch has a date or day display, pull the crown to the first click position and rotate it to adjust the date/day. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
  4. Push in the crown: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into its normal position to start the watch.

2. Adjusting the Bracelet

The watch features a two-tone stainless steel bracelet with a single pusher foldover clasp closure. For proper fit, the bracelet may need to be adjusted by adding or removing links. This procedure typically requires specialized tools and is best performed by a professional watch technician or jeweler.

  • Date of the month: Indicates the current day of the month.
  • Days of the week: Displays the current day of the week.
  • 24-hour dial: Shows time in a 24-hour format.
  • Seconds markers: Markings around the dial for precise second readings.

2. Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). This rating means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch, regularly wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel components, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

2. Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a quartz movement, which requires a battery. When the battery runs low, the watch may stop or the second hand may skip. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

3. Storage

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original watch box can be used for storage.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
  • Incorrect time: Reset the time as described in the "Setting the Time and Date" section. If the time continues to be inaccurate, the watch may require servicing.
  • Condensation under crystal: If condensation appears under the watch crystal, it indicates a potential issue with the water resistance seal. Avoid further contact with water and seek professional servicing immediately.
