1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Arafuna Mini DVD Player. This compact and versatile device is designed to provide a high-quality viewing experience for your favorite DVDs, CDs, and media files. With its region-free playback, HDMI and RCA connectivity, and support for USB/TF card media, it offers flexible entertainment options for your home or on the go.

3. Setup

3.1 Connecting to Your TV or Projector

The Arafuna Mini DVD Player offers multiple connectivity options to suit your display device.

3.1.1 HDMI Connection (Recommended for HD Quality)

  1. Ensure both the DVD player and your TV/projector are powered off.
  2. Connect one end of the provided HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the back of the DVD player.
  3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI IN port on your TV or projector. Note the HDMI input number (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).
  4. Power on your TV/projector and select the corresponding HDMI input source.

3.1.2 RCA Connection (for Older TVs)

  1. Ensure both the DVD player and your TV are powered off.
  2. Connect the yellow plug of the provided AV (RCA) cable to the Video Out (yellow) port on the DVD player.
  3. Connect the red and white plugs to the Audio Out (red for right, white for left) ports on the DVD player.
  4. Connect the other end of the yellow, red, and white plugs to the corresponding Video In and Audio In ports on your TV.
  5. Power on your TV and select the AV input source.

3.2 Powering On the Device

  1. Connect the DC (USB) cable to the DC IN port on the DVD player.
  2. Connect the other end of the DC (USB) cable to the provided power adaptor.
  3. Plug the power adaptor into a standard wall outlet.
  4. Press the POWER button on the DVD player or the remote control to turn on the device. The front display will illuminate.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Disc Playback

  1. With the player powered on, gently insert a DVD or CD into the disc slot on the front of the player, label side up. The player will automatically detect the disc.
  2. The disc will begin loading, and playback should start automatically. If a menu appears, use the arrow keys and OK button on the remote control to navigate.
  3. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, FF/REW buttons on the remote for playback control.
  4. This player is region-free, allowing you to play DVDs from any region (1-6) without restrictions.

4.2 USB and TF Card Playback

The player supports media playback from USB drives and TF (Micro SD) cards up to 32GB, formatted in FAT32.

  1. Insert your USB drive into the USB port or your TF card into the TF CARD slot on the side of the player.
  2. The player should automatically detect the media and display a file browser. If not, use the SOURCE button on the remote to select USB or TF Card mode.
  3. Navigate through your files using the arrow keys and OK button on the remote.
  4. Supported file formats:

4.3 Last Memory Function

The Arafuna Mini DVD Player features a convenient last memory function. If you stop playback or power off the device during a movie or song, it will automatically resume from the exact point where you left off when you power it back on and select the same media.

4.4 Remote Control Usage

The included remote control provides full functionality for navigating menus, controlling playback, and adjusting settings. Ensure two AAA batteries (not included) are inserted correctly. Point the remote directly at the front of the DVD player for optimal response.

  • POWER: Turns the player on/off.
  • PLAY/PAUSE: Starts or pauses playback.
  • STOP: Stops playback.
  • FF/REW: Fast forward/rewind.
  • NEXT/PREV: Skips to the next/previous track/chapter.
  • VOL+/-: Adjusts volume (if supported by the player's output).
  • MENU/SETUP: Accesses disc or system menus.
  • ARROW KEYS & OK: Navigates menus and confirms selections.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Player

To maintain optimal performance and appearance:

  • Always unplug the player from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the player with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosol sprays, or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the finish or internal components.

5.2 Cleaning Discs

For best playback quality, keep your discs clean and free of dust and fingerprints.

  • Hold discs by their edges to avoid touching the playback surface.
  • Wipe discs gently from the center outwards with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.3 Storage

When not in use, store the DVD player in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Keep discs in their cases to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.
