5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your POMIACAM 1CH DVR:

5.1 Inserting the SD Card

  1. Ensure the DVR is powered off.
  2. Locate the SD card slot on the front panel.
  3. Insert a compatible SD card (up to 512GB, not included) into the slot with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, gently push the SD card until it springs out.

5.2 Connecting Video and Power

  2. Connect a monitor or TV to the AV OUT port using an RCA cable to view live footage or recorded playback.
  3. Connect the power adapter to the PWR port on the DVR, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The device will power on automatically.

The POMIACAM 1CH DVR is operated primarily using the included remote control.

6.2 Recording Video

  1. Ensure an SD card is properly inserted.
  2. Point the remote control at the DVR's IR receiver.
  3. Press the Record button on the remote control to start recording. The recording indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Press the Record button again to stop recording. The recording indicator light will turn off.
  5. Real-time Stamp: Recorded videos will automatically include a real-time date and time stamp.
  6. Overwrite Function: When the SD card is full, the DVR will automatically overwrite the oldest files to continue recording.

6.3 Playback

  1. While in live view mode, press the Playback button on the remote control.
  2. Use the navigation buttons on the remote to select the desired video file.
  3. Press the Play button to start playback.
  4. Use the remote control for functions such as pause, fast forward, and rewind.
  5. To return to live view, press the Live or Exit button (refer to remote control layout).
