The LCD provides comprehensive real-time information about the gateway and connected sensors. This includes current date and time, power status, signal strength for 4G and WiFi, network mode, the number of connected sensors, individual sensor battery levels, Lora signal strength, and the temperature and humidity readings from each sensor, along with their unique GUIDs.
4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Initial Power-Up and Network Connection
- Insert a valid SIM card into the SIM card slot if using 4G connectivity.
- Connect the power adapter to the Type-C interface and plug it into a power source.
- The device will power on automatically. Observe the Power, WiFi, 4G, and LAN indicators for status.
- For WiFi connection, press and hold the WiFi switch key for 3 seconds to enter network configuration mode. Follow the instructions on the LCD or refer to the Elitech iCold platform for setup.
- For wired Ethernet connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port.
4.2 Elitech iCold Cloud Platform Registration and Device Addition
To fully utilize the monitoring capabilities, register an account on the Elitech iCold cloud platform and add your RCW-3000 gateway. This process involves creating an account, verifying your email, and then adding the device using its unique GUID.
