5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

5.2. Viewing and Setting the Setpoint

  • To View Setpoint: Press and release the SET button. The display will show the current setpoint value.
  • To Change Setpoint: While the setpoint is displayed, press the SET button for more than 2 seconds. The setpoint value will flash. Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the value. Press SET again to confirm and exit.

5.3. Accessing and Modifying Parameters

The controller has a comprehensive set of parameters to customize its operation. Accessing these parameters typically involves a specific key combination.

  • To Enter Programming Mode: Press and hold the SET and DOWN (▼) buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the first parameter code appears.

  • To View/Change Parameter Value: Press the SET button when the desired parameter code is displayed. The value will flash. Use UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) to adjust. Press SET to confirm.
  • To Exit Programming Mode: Press and hold the SET button for a few seconds, or wait for the automatic timeout (usually 15-30 seconds) without pressing any buttons.

5.4. Defrost Function

The controller manages defrost cycles based on programmed parameters. Defrost can be initiated automatically or manually.

  • Automatic Defrost: Configured through parameters (e.g., defrost interval, duration, termination temperature).
  • Manual Defrost: Press and hold the AUX button (if configured for manual defrost) for a few seconds to initiate a defrost cycle.

5.5. Keyboard Lock/Unlock

To prevent accidental changes to settings, the keyboard can be locked.

  • To Lock: Press and hold the UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds. The display will show "LO".
  • To Unlock: Press and hold the UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds. The display will show "Un".
