4. Product Overview

The TPMS consists of a main display unit and four external sensors. The display unit shows real-time tire pressure and temperature, while the sensors are installed on each tire's valve stem.

4.1. Monitor Features

  • Large LCD display for clear visibility.
  • Solar panel for efficient charging.
  • USB charging port for alternative power.
  • Built-in gravity sensing system for automatic power on/off.
  • Audible alarm for abnormal tire conditions.

4.2. Sensor Features

  • External design for easy installation.
  • Waterproof and dustproof.
  • Real-time pressure and temperature detection.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Monitor Placement

The monitor offers two installation options for optimal viewing and convenience:

  • Windshield Placement: Attach the monitor to your windshield using the provided bracket. This position allows you to view the display without looking down, keeping your focus on the road.
  • Dashboard Placement: Use the included stand to place the monitor on your central console or dashboard. This offers flexibility in positioning.

5.2. Sensor Installation

Follow these steps to install the external sensors on your tires:

  1. Screw out valve cap: Remove the original valve cap from the tire valve stem.
  2. Screw in six angle nut: Thread one of the anti-loss nuts onto the valve stem.
  3. Rotate the relative tires according to the position of the sensor: Identify the correct sensor for each tire (e.g., FL for Front Left, FR for Front Right, RL for Rear Left, RR for Rear Right).
  4. Reverse rotating top sensor with nut wrench: Screw the sensor onto the valve stem until it is snug. Then, use the provided wrench to tighten the anti-loss nut against the sensor to secure it.
  5. Check if the air is leaking with soapy water: Apply soapy water around the sensor and valve stem to check for any air leaks. If bubbles appear, re-tighten the sensor and nut.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

The monitor features a built-in gravity sensing system. When your car starts and vibration is detected, the monitor will automatically turn on. When the car is stopped and no vibration is detected for a period, the monitor will automatically turn off to save power.

Image: Explains the built-in gravity sensing system, showing that sensors do not emit signals when the car is stopped, but transmit data when the car is driving.

6.2. Real-time Monitoring

Once powered on and sensors are installed, the monitor will display the real-time pressure and temperature for all four tires. The large LCD screen ensures easy readability while driving.

6.3. Alarm Modes

The system is equipped with six alarm modes to alert you to potential tire issues:

  • Rapid Leak Alarm: Alerts you to a sudden and significant drop in tire pressure.
  • Slow Leak Alarm: Notifies you of a gradual decrease in tire pressure.
  • High Pressure Alarm: Warns if tire pressure exceeds the safe limit.
  • High Temperature Alarm: Alerts if tire temperature becomes excessively high.
  • Sensor Fault Alarm: Indicates a malfunction or communication issue with a sensor.
  • Sensor Low Battery Alarm: Notifies when a sensor's battery is low and needs replacement.

7. Charging the Monitor

The TPMS monitor supports two charging methods to ensure continuous operation:

  • Solar Charging: The integrated solar panel on the top of the monitor efficiently converts sunlight into power, keeping the internal battery charged during daylight hours.
  • USB Charging: For cloudy days or when solar charging is insufficient, you can use the provided USB cable to charge the monitor via its USB charging port. This ensures the system remains powered without occupying your car's cigarette lighter socket.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Sensor Check: Periodically check the sensors for tightness and ensure they are free from dirt or debris.
  • Battery Life: The monitor's internal battery is designed for long life with solar charging. Sensors have replaceable batteries (consult manufacturer for specific battery type and replacement instructions if needed, though external sensors usually have sealed batteries or are designed for easy user replacement).

9. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Monitor not turning on.Low battery; no vibration detected.Charge the monitor via USB. Ensure the car is moving to activate the vibration sensor.
No tire data displayed.Sensors not installed correctly; sensor battery low; signal interference.Re-install sensors, ensuring they are tight. Check for sensor low battery alarm. Move monitor to a less obstructed location.
Inaccurate readings.Sensor not calibrated; external factors.Ensure tires are at correct pressure before initial setup. Compare with a reliable pressure gauge.
Alarm sounds frequently.Actual tire issue; alarm thresholds set too low/high.Check tire pressure and temperature manually. Adjust alarm thresholds if possible (refer to full manual for advanced settings).
