5. Operating Instructions

Using AC Outlets:

  • The two US-standard AC outlets provide 110V power for your devices.
  • This converter is specifically designed for high-wattage heating appliances like curling irons and hair straighteners up to 200W.
  • IMPORTANT: Do NOT use with high-power appliances such as hair dryers, electric kettles, or clothes irons. These devices typically exceed the 200W limit and can cause damage to the converter or the appliance.
  • Always check the wattage of your appliance before plugging it into the converter.

Using USB Ports:

  • The converter features 4 USB ports: one USB-C port with 18W Power Delivery (PD) for fast charging compatible devices, and three USB-A ports providing 2.4A output.
  • These ports are suitable for charging smartphones, tablets, cameras, smartwatches, and other USB-powered devices.
  • USB charging functions independently and does not require the voltage conversion feature to be active.

6. Safety Information

Your Ceptics Voltage Converter is built with multiple safety features to protect your devices and the converter itself:

  • Auto Shut-Down Surge Protection: Guards against sudden power surges.
  • Over Current Protection: Prevents damage from excessive current flow.
  • Over Temperature Protection: A silent fan helps dissipate heat, and the unit will shut down if it detects overheating.
  • Short Circuit Protection: Protects against electrical shorts.

Important Safety Reminders:

  • This device is a voltage converter, not a voltage adapter. It changes the voltage from 220V to 110V.
  • Always ensure your appliance's wattage is within the converter's 200W limit for AC outlets.
  • Do not expose the converter to water or extreme temperatures.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
