2.4 Live Streaming Setup

For live streaming, connect your headphones to the MONITOR Output Jack (1 or 2) and turn on the INPUT MONITOR switch. Adjust the MONITOR knob for headphone volume. Connect your microphone to the MIC input (turn on 48V phantom power for condenser mics) and your instrument to the GUITAR/BASS input. Adjust individual volume knobs for MIC, INST, and GUITAR/BASS. You can connect a second smartphone to the RECORDING Jack via a TRRS 4-pole 3.5mm audio cable to stream to two platforms simultaneously.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Overload Indicator

The indicator light turns red if the input is overloaded. To prevent distortion, reduce the input volume until the indicator turns green.

3.2 Input Monitor Switch

The INPUT MONITOR switch allows you to monitor the input signal through connected headphones or amps. Turn it ON to hear your live input. When using guitar tone apps, it is recommended to turn the INPUT MONITOR OFF to avoid double monitoring or feedback.

3.3 Center Cancel Function

The Center Cancel function (available on LINE IN 1) reduces the volume of the main vocal or lead instrument in a backing track, effectively creating an accompaniment version. This is useful for karaoke or practicing solos.

3.4 Recording with Guitar Tone Apps

To record video with a guitar tone app, you will need two smart devices. One device runs the guitar tone app (connected to MOMIX's GUITAR/BASS input), and the other device records the video (connected to MOMIX's RECORDING jack via a TRRS 4-pole 3.5mm audio cable). Ensure the INPUT MONITOR switch is OFF.
