Operating Instructions
1. Wearing the Earbuds
The OPPO Enco Buds are designed for comfort, with each earbud weighing only 4 grams. To ensure the best fit and sound quality:
- Choose the silicone eartips (S, M, L) that best fit your ear canal. A snug fit is crucial for optimal audio performance and noise isolation.
- Gently insert the earbuds into your ears and rotate them slightly until they feel secure and comfortable.

2. Touch Controls
The earbuds feature customizable touch controls for easy management of music and calls. You can personalize these controls via the HeyMelody app (if available for your device).
| Action | Function |
|---|---|
| Double-tap | Play/Pause music, Answer/End call |
| Triple-tap | Next track, Activate voice assistant, Game Mode ON/OFF |
| Touch & Hold (Left earbud) | Volume Down |
| Touch & Hold (Right earbud) | Volume Up |
Note: The touch sensors are sensitive. Be mindful when adjusting the earbuds to avoid unintended actions.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regularly clean your earbuds and charging case to maintain optimal performance and hygiene:
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the earbuds and charging case.
- Remove eartips and clean them with water and mild soap if necessary, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
- Gently clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case with a dry cotton swab.
2. Storage
When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust and damage.
3. Water and Dust Resistance (IP54)
The OPPO Enco Buds earbuds are IP54 dust and water resistant. This means they are protected against limited dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. This rating applies to the earbuds only, not the charging case.
- You can use the earbuds outdoors in light rain or during workouts without worrying about sweat or splashes.
- Note: IP5X dust resistance does not guarantee complete dust protection, but minor dust will not affect the headphone's function.
- Avoid submerging the earbuds in water or exposing them to high-pressure water jets.
4. Magnetic Interference Warning
Do not place cards with magnetic stripes (e.g., bank cards, SIM cards) near the device for extended periods. Magnetic fields may damage magnetic stripe cards.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your OPPO Enco Buds, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Earbuds not connecting/pairing: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Place the earbuds back in the case, close the lid, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode. Try restarting your connected device (e.g., smartphone).
- No sound or intermittent audio: Check the earbud battery level. Ensure the earbuds are properly seated in your ears. Try re-pairing the earbuds with your device.
- Touch controls not responding: Ensure your fingers are clean and dry. Try restarting the earbuds by placing them in the case and closing the lid.
- Accidental touch operations: The touch sensors are sensitive. Be careful when handling the earbuds to avoid unintended actions like pausing music or skipping tracks.
- Poor call quality: Ensure the earbuds' microphones are not obstructed. Check your network connection.
- Sound quality concerns: Some users report that the sound quality, particularly bass, improves after a few hours of use (often referred to as 'aging' or 'burn-in').
If the problem persists, please contact OPPO customer support for further assistance.
