6. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The sensor uses a CR2025 button battery. When the battery is low, the sensor's performance may be affected. To replace, carefully open the battery compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new CR2025 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Cleaning: Wipe the sensor with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt or sweat. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the sensor in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, consider removing the battery to prevent leakage.
7. Troubleshooting
- Sensor Not Connecting:
- Ensure the sensor is active (start pedaling).
- Check the battery level and replace if necessary.
- Make sure Bluetooth/ANT+ is enabled on your receiving device.
- Move the sensor closer to your receiving device during pairing.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Verify the sensor is securely mounted on the crank arm and not moving.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the sensor and the receiving device.
- Water Damage: While the sensor is IPX7 waterproof, prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water jets is not recommended. Ensure the battery cover is securely closed.
