1. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Charging

4.1 Initial Charging

  1. Ensure the shaver is switched off.
  2. Connect the charging adapter to the shaver's charging port.
  3. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet (100-240V AC).
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the shaver is charging.
  5. Allow approximately 90 minutes for a full charge. The indicator light may change or turn off when fully charged (refer to specific model behavior if detailed in product packaging).
  6. Disconnect the adapter from the power outlet and then from the shaver once charging is complete.

Note: For optimal battery life, it is recommended to fully charge the shaver before its first use.

4.2 Attaching/Detaching the Trimmer

  • To attach the adjustable comb trimmer, align the trimmer with the shaver body and press firmly until it clicks into place.
  • To detach, gently pull the trimmer away from the shaver body.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Shaving

The GoldMaster Loft shaver can be used for both dry and wet shaving.

  1. Dry Shaving: Ensure your face is clean and dry. Press the power button to turn on the shaver. Move the shaver in small, circular motions against the direction of hair growth.
  2. Wet Shaving: Apply shaving foam or gel to your face. Press the power button to turn on the shaver. Move the shaver in small, circular motions against the direction of hair growth. Rinse the shaving heads under running water during and after use to prevent clogging.
  3. After shaving, turn off the shaver and clean it as described in the Maintenance section.

5.2 Using the Trimmer Attachment

  1. Ensure the shaver is off. Attach the adjustable comb trimmer.
  2. Turn on the shaver.
  3. Use the trimmer to shape sideburns, mustaches, or to pre-trim longer beard hair before shaving.
  4. Move the trimmer gently against the direction of hair growth for best results.
  5. After use, turn off the shaver and clean the trimmer.

5.3 Travel Lock Function

  • To activate: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the travel lock indicator (if present) illuminates or the shaver briefly vibrates. The shaver will not turn on when the travel lock is active.
  • To deactivate: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the travel lock indicator turns off or the shaver briefly vibrates, indicating it is ready for use.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your shaver.

6.1 Daily Cleaning (After Each Use)

  1. Turn off the shaver and unplug it if connected to a charger.
  2. Open the shaving head unit (refer to your shaver's specific mechanism, usually by pressing a release button or twisting).
  3. Rinse the shaving heads and the hair chamber thoroughly under warm running water.
  4. Use the supplied cleaning brush to remove any stubborn hair particles from the blades and inner chamber.
  5. Shake off excess water and leave the shaving head unit open to air dry completely before closing or attaching the protective cap.

Caution: Do not wipe the shaving foils with a towel or tissue, as this may damage them.

6.2 Replacing Shaving Heads

For optimal shaving performance, it is recommended to replace the shaving heads approximately every 12 months, depending on usage. Replacement heads can be purchased from authorized GoldMaster retailers.

  1. Turn off the shaver and unplug it.
  2. Open the shaving head unit.
  3. Carefully remove the old shaving heads and foils.
  4. Insert the new shaving heads and foils, ensuring they are correctly aligned.
  5. Close the shaving head unit until it clicks into place.

7. Troubleshooting
